It almost like its a crime to love wrestling, when i see those billionares buying european soccer teams they said they are big fans of the sport and nobody says anything to them about beign a "mark" Also alot of box promoters got into the sports because they love the sport and Dana White said he was a MMA Martial arts movies fanboy growing up and you dont see someone calling him "mark" Its such a stupid mentality that some wrestling fans have Wrestling fans already take a lot of crap from non-wrestling fans,i dont understand the point of having this "rivalary" between fans of wrestling I will always be thankful to Tony because we have more wrestling ,new stars like Hangman, Britt and more plus epic moments like Punk return
It's not really an insult. These clueless kids trolls, that use this word don't really know what that term means. Mark is a word used by carnival promoters back in the day, to their ticket paying audience.. As they list down and marked how many attendees they had.
I think the AEW schedule is better. Gives the wrestlers more time to recover and good for them mentally. WWE's schedule is like hectic, hearing all the things wrestlers say about it unable to be home or properly recover.

it wasn't about Punk himself, more about how much Cornette hated Ian Rotten and IWA midsouth as it was considered garbage wrestling (which it was for the most part)

When I was a young fan, I used to think you had to support your promotion no matter what. Now I realize how silly that is. I'm a Sting fan, so for a long time I supported WCW only. But then life happened, and Sting didn't go to WWE, but he went to TNA, and then WWE, and now AEW. And what, you stop supporting a talent you like because he changed promotions? Because staying loyal to a promotion that a talent you like says treated him poorly makes more sense? If you turned on Punk because you think he's lying, fine. But if you turned on him because you're loyal to WWE, I can't get with that. I'm trying to be loyal to WWE, but they make it so hard. They keep sending away my favorite wrestlers who then turn up in AEW and say how happy they are. And it's hard to hate happy people. And it's even harder to hate someone you know for a fact wasn't used well or at all in WWE for months at a time, yet they're instant stars in AEW. And it's not like WWE doesn't have the resources to do the same, or doesn't know how to make stars. They just choose not to. You think WWE couldn't have made Ruby a star overnight, or given Andrade the entrance he got at TripleMania? Of course they could have. These people made the Undertaker. And that's what really hurts: knowing what they're capable of, and accepting that they're choosing to be as they are instead. One thing is very clear to me: wrestling is more fun when the boss is a fan. And Vince can't have been one for years, if he never paid attention to NXT.
If there was a next CM Punk, I think Ari Sterling had the potential. He reminds me of the classic CM Punk and he seems to be talented too. He was in 205 Live for a little time before he got released along with about 20 other wrestlers. He could be a good addition to AEW or the X-Division.
