That match wasn't Rhea Ripley vs. Natalya. It was Zoey Stark vs. Natalya. The only reason the crowd started chanting for CM Punk was because they didn't care about that match. CM Punk chants are nothing new. WWE fans always do that when they see something they don't like. It's up there with the "What?!" chants.

Punk could even come in like “I really did think they grass was greener on the other side John. I really did think I’d get my respect” and then mention how even in AEW there were instigators, politics, and drama. And then he could mention how his respect for John grew even more now that he experienced life outside of wwe, and also bring up how he appreciates John always showing him respect. Cena did that promo where he said he might even leave, Jump the ramp, and blow a kiss. As well as mentioning punk in other promos over the years.
