I gotta give the best return to Edge, honestly. It's one of the most unexpected returns. CM Punk returning to wrestling was a long time coming. Edge had to wait nine years to be cleared to wrestle again. Edge's return is one of the emotional moments in pro wrestling history. Battling from a broken neck to getting cleared to wrestle again. A beautiful story in wrestling.

Edge’s return was literally one of the greatest sports comeback besides Alex Smith both of the injuries they suffered was literally almost impossible. Punk could’ve came back when he wanted to, same as Cena and others. To me it isn’t even close

Finally someone agrees with me. Edge’s return was so much bigger than punk. Don’t get me wrong it’s cool punks back but edge returned after 9 years from an impossible injury. And people are more excited about a guy who hasn’t been in it in 7 and didn’t even really want to in the first place.

The difference is that no one wanted Edge to comeback. He retired because of his body, and we were all happy that he was gonna be healthy. His retirement speech was beautiful, everything about that made him go out as a legend. CM Punk on the other hand didn't have a closure with wrestling, he went out when he was arguably at the top, he didn't take part at nothing related to wrestling in the last 7 years while Edge was involved in countless WWE programs. don't get me wrong, Edge is a childhood hero to me, but Punk's return is way above Edge's imo. Punk's return is the most hype thing to happen to wrestling in the past decade probably.
