This clip doesn't show the part where he said he went back to his hotel and ate chicken. Well, Tony clearly is a chicken so he must have feared for his life thinking that Punk was going to eat him 😂
@Absinthexx7 I know all aew marks will say wwe is soap opera we prefer 5 star matches over storytelling. Like punk said it 5 star matches doesn't fill out stadiums and sell out tickets. Look at okada edge ospreay all they are doing is having 5 star matches with no character build up.
@@uhasja Okada and Osprey have only just arrived, and if you think there's been no character work or build between Copeland and Christian, that only proves what an abject liar you are.
@@user-ct8tc2dd9v well I’m replying to one so, yes. Some life advice, kid: leave your parents basement, take a shower and try not to engage with the other AEW cult members for a day. You might enjoy a little reality for a change.
Definitely me honestly I saw this as a way of them being vindictive because I ultimately showed this to prove their innocence. But ultimately they just Ultimately they just prove CM punk‘s point and that he was telling the truth!!!!!
There is a nuanced explaination to all of this and it starts with all of these guys all being leftists who have no concept of looking within themselves.
@@kitezzz360say what you want about Vince, he can be a jackass narcissistic pervert, but hats off to the guy he made company and pro wrestling better back in days before this cupcakes era..
@@Gannohit became "PG" because it became a publicly traded company. Which means you had to move different to keep investors and sponsors happy. Cupcake era refers to all these pre Madonna entitled wrestlers. Who have limited talent but think they have the star power of the Rock or Austin. Meanwhile they couldn't draw flies to shit.
"Nobody's in charge".....that is the foundation of every single one of AEW's problems. Tony Khan refuses to be a boss because he wants to be everybody's friend. The sad & hilarious part is that the people Tony Khan thinks are his buddies, really aren't.
Anybody who doesn't understand the whole " what do you want me to do" line from a boss, you've never been a supervisor of a team. That one line will diminish you so much as a leader and lose respect amongst your crew. You'll be lucky to recover and things will continue to spiral from there. You can't play the middle as boss, cut a clear line and handle problems without feelings.
Vince could absolutely marshal a group of egotistical wrestlers. It was probably his greatest quality as a booker. Unfortunately, he also had some personal proclivities that made him overall not a great example as a head of a company. If there could be someone who could face down wrestlers when they get out of line, but also not have been (allegedly) trafficking female employees, that would be great. Maybe Heyman or Cornette?
Thank you CM PUNK for Wembley, I had the best time ever seeing you there for my first ever live show. Im so so happy youre back in WWE. FULL CIRCLE. 10 years in the making man
Conrad (T.: Eric Bischoff's "83 Weeks" podcast co-host) : all-you-can-eat Pizza buffet (for lunchtime only); after lunch, all of the pizza's gone, for the rest of the customers.
I'm a fan of punk, and when he got released, especially when loads of stuff came out, I'm not gonna lie, I believed majority of it. I now take all that mindset back. This sounds like maturity informing immaturity, and the immaturity reacted the way it always does, brash and reckless.
I was there at Wembley & I have even more respect for CM PUNK for Quitting the company but still continuing to Show Up for us, The Fans! 👏🏽👏🏽 ...was a good match vs Joe And an incredible experience to see CM live for the first time, singing along to his theme tune was epic
Tony Khan not handling that situation like an actual BOSS says so much. Give Vince a lot of crap but one thing he never did was let anyone walk over him.
I mean the ones at E are actually talented and responsible for their actions. Only few chosen one. Cause's nia jax , rosey, tamina, etc didn't make big in WWE. Only Peter malivia, Rocky Johnson, rock and roman. With the usos.@@eastwaters4082
I flat out stopped watching. I’ll occasionally tune in if I see Mercedes wrestling, but other than that, hard pass. I don’t care to watch Moxley bleed every other week.
I was just gonna comment this. Helwani absolutely hates Kahn after their horrible interview together, so you know he's creaming his pants asking punk these questions.
I bet Cornette went to bed giggling, rubbing his feet together under the covers after hearing this! 😂 looking forward to hearing his and Brian’s take on everything!
Ariel is a god damn good interviewer cause he left Punk slient not wanting to talk about it and he didnt interject to the next topic he made Punk spill it out by just being quiet.
To be fair tony isn’t so starved for money that he can’t afford another windshield but at the same time it shouldnt be tony’s responsibility when he literally said “no dont do that”
In a fair world jungle boy would pay for the windshield out his paycheck and punk wouldnt have gotten fired. Him going back to wwe makes me super happy
Nobody talks about CM Punk more than the CM Punk haters. All the haters here have probably watched and commented on 50 CM Punk videos the past few months. 🤣
This along with that backstage footage AEW released literally confirms Punk is telling the truth here. But some people still side with Perry and the Elite, and it just baffles me.
AEW burried itself, it's been on a massive decline for ages now. They've spent a fortune on 3 new signings and the ratings have got worse. Tony is a terrible booker. American wrestling fans want drama, they want story and character. They don't want no build up '5 star' spot fests with wrestlers that nobody cares about
At first I was with the Elite, because there were so many news about Punk being a problem backstage but after hearing all this I just want to say Im sorry Punk for ever doubting you again
Even if you don’t like the guy, I have no idea as a business how you could intentionally not schedule a ride for one of your biggest stars to get to the venue where the biggest show you’ve ever had will be. And I’m near certain that it was intentional because the guy in charge of that stuff is an Elite stooge and no other talent had that issue as far as I know. What an unprofessional Mickey Mouse organization.
Some gates have a counter built in, and some venues they use hand click counters, to get the actual number of ticket holders that pass through the gates. Vs how they based the first count on ticket sales.
It's not about taking side of either cm punk or the elite. But when you listen to both sides ( the devil is always in the details). Its indeed fishy that after the brawl, chris Jericho who was also involved in the brawl, did not sign NDA. Why is that ?? Secondly, people on social media blamed punk for causing all the backstage drama , in reality, till this day AEW has been facing drama since the boss tony khan cannot take control. Few months ago there was eddie kingston vs sammy guavera brawl and so much drama with mjf aswell which never comes out clearly on social media , because thanks to uncle dave meltzer.
I dk, for a guy that's buried everyone in interviews and talked about how he has no problem confronting people because he's not scared it's hard to belive him being the cool calm collected guy in this situation
Well, ever since the media scrum and how he acted on Twitter publicly, i was never really sure what to make of Tony Khan. I respected the fact that he became a part of creating a competing wrestling company, because competition breeds quality. But I was never really sure about the guy, especially as a bossman, because it never really felt like he was the boss there.
Someone chimed in already saying All in had more in attendance than mania this year, the total varies on who you ask regardless, mania 40 was the most viewed wrestling show per minute. Something AEW could never. Punk is doing great. Best in the world.
Tony Khan is the modern day Eric Bischoff the way he lets his talent and employees run loose. I know Bischoff would lose his absolute mind and meltdown over that comparison.
So the bucks show the footage and there was no footage shown of punk threatening tony's life. He did go up to jack and talk to him and it looks like jack said some flippant shit and punk shoved him jack shoved punk and punk got a front face lock on him and joe broke it up.
@@DJGarciaRay okay punk was walking away....still no shown footage of punk threatening Khan....and No lunging. So Tony Khan lied about the lunging or lied about showing us all the footage
One thing EVERY WRESTLING FAN should know about Punk is he is going to speak his mind, like it or not. Basically, don't give him a reason to talk shit about you.
I've literally been saying this since what, week 4 of AEW being on tv? It's blatantly obvious the inmates run the asylum and Tony looks like a fool on tv. Rich kid has no clue the value of a dollar and was neglected a real-life experience or lesson on authority. Taz is on every week acting like he's in 5th grade, JR mentioning WWE numerous times, with no real structure to the show. I genuinely have no clue how they're still in business, but I gave it 5 more years 2 years ago, and I'm sticking to my prediction. That whole organization will go belly up in 3- years.
This was one of the versions out there. The whole lunging at Tony thing I never bought...fearing for his life was hysterical. The outrageous nonsense has been out there along with this version and somehow there are people who believe the lies. Common sense with the limited facts we did have would tell ya that Punk wasn't a saint but definitely not the one to blame for all the chaos. It's really unfortunate because they did so much damage to their own image that some people will never go to work there no matter how much $ TK throws at em. It's horrible for the business. I had such high hopes for AEW a few years ago
