CM Punk thanks Cena for his career in WWE because Cena put him over more than once when most top guys wouldn’t. Not to mention Cena and Punk had pretty good matches. Cena was always a businessman. While he may have held back certain guys, he also did business for others. After all the years of fans booing Cena out of the building, he’s finally getting his due respect and it’s nice to see that. Cena will be missed once he is gone.

CM Punk is looking great. I feel like he looked out of shape when he was in AEW. He looks healthy and I hope he can stay that way for a few more years. I love seeing him in WWE. He was the reason I started watching again back in 2013. I stopped sometime around 1998. I use to watch with my Dad and he would take me to the shows when they were in town. So after my Dad passed after I had my first son, I developed really bad anxiety and one night when I couldn’t sleep, my husband worked thirds, I started getting on RU-vid and watching old videos of Macho Man and then ran across CM Punk and I just loved everything about him. It helped my anxiety. Sorry so long winded. But watching WWE brings back so many good memories with my Dad. Plus my Dad looked so much like Macho Man and he would do “Oh Yeah” and wrestle with us. Makes me tear up thinking about it.
