CMD : Show Wi-Fi Password | Windows 10 / 11 | NETVN 

I know it sounds silly but sometimes when you work on high powered stuff you forget this simple things - this was a great help.

This is actually retrieving passwords of the Wifi networks previously connected to a pc.

I think this code represents "netsh wlan show profile" shows only those passwords that are already connected to our pc. In that's way we only connected with that's pc wifi passwords

you can also see it under network conection wireless network properties security no need to use cmd

what this does show is the risk associated with entering your wifi password to a guests device. Enable a temporary guest network instead. Simple but effective.

A ways you can use this technique is to get a reverse shell back from an exploit and then using that pc as a pivot to laterally move to an intranet pc. You can then bring that pc online by connecting to wifi and then use it as your entry point instead. This will hide your initial entry point and even if the intranet pc is quarantined you still maintain stealthy access to the victims environment. It's obviously not an initial compromise technique, but it's upto the attackers creativity in where in the attack life cycle he can use this to better achieve his goal.
