All the crossings on the CN are no horns. The Wisconsin & Southern line that branches off at Grand Avenue has a few crossings without gates and WSOR trains blow the horn for those.
100 cars and ends with a red Boxcar, I want more videos of longer trains that ends with green boxcars and others with blue boxcars, those are the best, thanks.
@@Brenton81 ok, search in youtube a csx train with 1000 cars, i saw the longest train on the world on youtube many, the longest train is the csx freight train with 1000 cars without help, maybe in the future will be one of 800 cars. Or 300 cars is better. I love trains
I'm very surprised to see Hayes mechanisms on CN. I thought class 1s ditched them years ago due to their price tag... A Siemens S-60, the most common mechanism on new installs goes for under $700, these are way more expensive, but way better.
These have only been around for about six months. They replaced Safetran signals from the WC and possibly Soo days. There were just gates before. No cantilevers.
I've heard from several maintainers that the S-60s are garbage and hard to actually work on. In fact, NS went back to the S-40 more recently, though they're now also trialing WCH gate mechs in the midwest.
