The Canada Day fireworks at CN Tower in Toronto was one of the best experiences of a lifetime. It was Canada's 150th birthday in 2017 and this beautiful fireworks happened in downtown Toronto at 12:00 AM night. I was there to capture some moments.

It was soo awesome i was like eeeeeeeeeeeee what a view by the way i came to celebrate canada day and the best thing is that my father gave me a very cute and fluffy Bear cub on the same the in behalf of my birthday and canada day cause my birthday comes 1 day before canada day Wish you guys a very very happy canada day glory to canada

Canada Day 150 was so cool, only 15C at that night, and many people were still wearing summer clothes.

With the CN Tower we could potentially make a Burj Khalifa-esque fireworks show every New Years, but we don't. The CN Tower fireworks have only happened twice before, in the year 2000 and the 2015 Pan am Games. I guess making it so rare makes it more special??

I didn't know about it, I thought CN tower fireworks happen on New Year as well. it would be nice for people to see it on New Year. Dubai does a great job in this regard which is matchless.

Yeah unfortunately it isn't on NYE. I wish it was, and an entire tourism pull could be managed for the annual spectacle. I think because the CN tower is owned by the Canada Lands Company, which is a state-owned company, and is linked to taxpayers, they are overly careful with adding expenses, because people love to complain. It's probably not as simple as that reason, maybe the owners just don't want to add anything substantially new yet, I wish they were more ambitious, Dubai Style :P I've gotta see the Burj Khalifa NYE fireworks one day! While its still the worlds tallest, Saudi might be catching up... lol

now I got the whole picture :D and yeah, you must try to see Dubai's NYE scene someday. that's just wonderful, I made it this year on 1st January and have a video of that as well on my channel :) great memory.

There are many other fireworks displays all across the city in parks where there's space for large crowds. The streets weren't blocked off and having thousands of people just suddenly gathering in the core could be problematic.

They could have done A LOT better. Just compare it with what they have in Sydney Australia and you will understand what I mean. We have 120K to blow out on a damn ducky but can't get a simple firework right for our 15oth birthday.
