@@wizard7314 token is used to secure the network, and for voting power, not just for transaction of value. When a lot of transactions go through the network, this token will see a surge in price.

No, as Dr. Baird pointed out, it's a brand new thing that meets the intended marketing purpose of coupons while A) sidestepping the problems of fraud (which benefits both consumer pricing and the business bottom line) AND B) providing an unprecedented amount of data in real time for marketing professionals, AND C) allowing retailers to instantly receive the payment from the business whose product is being purchased. That's why the interviewer is so thrilled. He understands the game change provided by this technology. I've been trying to wrap my brain around the additional uses of Hedera's tech beyond tokens, and this is a fantastic opening salvo.
