This song is about cutting off toxic relationships, something this band may know too well. Yong Hwa, the lead singer and songwriter, was inspired when he passed a hair salon hence the scissors! The MV fits this song so well, and love the little touches of humor.
The live stage where they actually get to play all the instruments is so well done. I didn't even know there was a comeback and this was a happy surpise.
This song is so good vocally and also just a lot of fun. I love how they used the old Western aesthetic, even mixing in the horns that you'd hear in some old Westerns set in the Southwest showing the Mexican influence. Just really cool.
I'd like you react to the full mini album, one song at a time or all together, is up to you, they're pretty good, besides the tittle track, I love "nothing" the most, but some on Twitter stan are loving "99%" more, anyway I hope you give it a try, have a nice day. guys.
Thanks~ Finally someone who speak English is making "Love cut" reaction... I'm glad, that I'll understand at least around 90% of what you will say and that's enough for me (I'm not an english speaker but I understand it better than I write it 😅) see you later guys.
@@emazhatt6561 I saw it already, I know she's a Boice, I think she fell in love with CNBLUE on their previous comeback. She also did the album reaction but I still haven't see it, I'll do it later at night... see you around girl (by your name I assume you're a girl 🙂) I often see you on CNBLUE vids, I rarely comment tho, only during new video/album promotion.
@@kiraroman2134 Alright then. And yes she's fallen for CNBLUE from last cb. And I did watch her short review from the album. And yes, I'm an old girl.^_^ I'm over 50yo rn. So...nice to meet you here. Fighting to have 1M views for CNBLUE's LOVE CUT MV
Happy to see that you guys liked the MV. I think this is one of their best MVs and it was so well made and fit the song so perfectly. I love the song as well, it's such a bop and an ear worm.
So glad you reacted to this! I had the album on repeat for like 3 days when it came out it's so good, the mv was very fun and I loved how cinematic it was. Fun fact, it's their first mv where they didn't play their instruments.
If I recall correctly, FT Island and CNBLUE were the first bands that took off in the idol industry back in the late 2000s. Idol bands weren't really that popular in SK but they were able to gain attention. Both bands drew negative attention from the 2019 molka chat scandals since one member from each band participated in it (they both also left).
