Hey Brian! Another great review! Your one of the best car reviewers out there. You tell it like you see it for what the car is meant to be used for. Keep it up and BTW MAKE MORE VIDEOS! !!
Xbox360Rager The Cadenza is a ripoff, but to expect anything else from an every day car company would be ridiculous. The point is that Maserati, given their history in boner-sprouting design, should be able to do better. Hell, I don't even think it looks that great. I saw it on the road last week and thought it was an ugly Cadenza. lol
blame it on the authentic germans... the cadenza was designed before the maserati.... and maserati is desperate for sales, thus justifying the imitative notions in their styling.
I love that you are completely unbiased which sometimes may be brutal for some car manufacturers. That being said, you point out strengths, as well as weaknesses unapologetically. The fact that I would have considered a Maserati...but I am rethinking just due to your findings, that there is no back seat passenger room, not a very good design attribute! Keep up the great work on a great show!
Under my trunk I keep : Spare tire Tire replace kit (lifter and other tools) Compresor Flashlight Screewdrivers Spare fuses Spare lights Spare spark plugs (actualy old ones that stil work) WD40 Car cover 2 peice of plastic snow drift savers with plastic studs (you put it under driven wheels) 1l of oil (my car started to consume oil) Jumpstart cables Old altenator belt Under the hood I keep : Electicity tester (srewdriver whit light inside and wire that goes on negative lead) Sponge for sleaning oil dipstick Under the seat there are : Deicer First aid kit Brush for cleaning the car High visibility jacket
I actually found this helpful and surprising. I have been strongly considering picking up a ghibli sq4 but the one thing that bothers me is how obnoxiously long it is. I made myself get over it though because I figured it would be very spacious and comfortable for trips and packing people in the car. The fact the back seat is that tight blows my mind for the overall size of the damn thing. I feel like there is more backseat room in a mitsubishi evo lol
Loved this show. Brian is a hoot to see do reviews. Message to Brian. Once a bad sounding file, always a bad sounding one. No system will change that. 50 years of doing audio, I know what I am talking about. The Ghibli is so Italian. Performance, noise from that engine, and so much more. Yeah FCA should have stepped it up on the UConnect.....uh, I mean their infotainment. Rear seat space is so Euro 'Talian too. Does not surprise me. Just give me a Charger SRT-8, and we are friends okay?
What was cadillac thinking with the ELR, I'm so genius, but cmon what moron put the ELR together?? 1) it's ugly 2) it's way too expensive 3) it's only a sold as a two door RIP ELR
The video says it's the first time Maser has done 2 4-doors at the same time. Note true. Maserati made the Quattroporte III and Biturbo 4-door side-by-side from 1983-89.
Bryan I was getting kind of scared that an audi wasn't in the top 5 until the rs7 came out! But seriously I'm a huge audi fan as well but maybe next time you can have a larger list to include more practical and affordable cars
This guys good, Im happy he's actually honest with the car and doesn't feel he has to make it look good just because of the brand. Still an awesome car but just one question, does it really matter if it has the Uconnect system? because its a good system (I own a Ram) but If the settings are changed up abit to have "luxury" styling, I don't see a big problem. What are your thoughts?
Surprised Cooley didn't mention the other components borrowed from Chrysler and Dodge. The light switch is from a 300, and the door window switch gear is from a Dodge Caravan -_-
I suggest you never look in a SLS; it shares switches with the A class. *gasp* The Ghibli's switches and the infotainment are massive improvements over previous masers. Buggy and difficult controls in Italian cars will soon be a thing of the past, and nobody should mourn them.
The infotainment can be had in the caravan too. Who cares It has a Ferrari motor!!! Go sit in one feel the real wood grain, and the Italian leather and comment. You will forget about the switches.
That Mercedes DICE system is nice in theory but in that demo it's awful. Everyone outside for one thing is going to think you're waving at them and giving them vague gestures and, even though the words and everything are in the window, you're still not focusing on the road.
+MrMG191919 Complaining about something you dont need? LMFAO omg no adaptive cruise control what a horrible thing to miss :'( boo hoo I won't waste my imaginary 90k on that car
***** Try driving in bumper to bumper Los Angeles traffic every day then tell me you wouldn't rather be able to push a button and have the car drive it's self. Adaptive cruise is a must, unless you wanna suffer every day you commute.
i'm 6 feet tall and leg room in the back is absolutly no real issue in the Ghibli. Maybe you set the pedals way back (with 6 feet ?) or front seat was still in the easy entry position.. If you're realy over 7 feet tall, get a Quadroporte. Fair enough, the front (Quadroporte seats) rails of the Ghibli are long enough to stretch yr legs in the passager seat. Is it so bad? Not at all.. PS: How can you prefer the "unbalanced oversteering heavy end" of the RS 7 over a 2014 Panamera or a S Q4? Note we have roundebouts around here and there are no E-substitutes to a good 50 to 50 front to rear balance for enough lateral g force...
ppl dnt realize italian cars are not about all the gadgets. they are about the car and having fun driving them. they dnt care aboit all the buttons and bullshit
I've seen a few and while the front always catches my eye the back is something I just want to look away from. It's not bad but it doesn't hold my attention. It looks like something from a Taurus or Cadenza or last gen Avalon.
I am glad they review rear seat and size. Because unless you are a loner you are bound to have family and company to take for a ride. A kind Request to review ACURA TLX PLEASE COOLEY
I'm most surprised that they still have a CD player. Sharing good tech is smart get over the Garmin's graphics dude. FCA should have gone with the knob gear selector and paddles.
I agree 100% Maserati demands $92,000 for a Ghibli with the same equipment of a top spec Charger- which it shares with. It's not special enough and exceeds the cost of a CLS and E-AMG, BMW-M4 and a bunch of others. Ride is rough and it's not as good a buy as the 14' CTS-V sport.
lol mercedes rep: we would never distract you with useless information whilst you're driving ( windscreen space taken up by; how much oyster can you eat? )
2:47 i was shocked to see how similar these two cars were. maserati interiors have never really wowed me and thats a problem for the type of car they're trying to sell. kinda makes me think that people buy these cars over their competitors simply because they're more rare and make you stand out more... also, i can't stand the name
