Like Many of Liberians my Family was displaced because of the Civil War. My Family went to Ivory Coast and later on to Ghana. I left Ghana September of 1992 and moved to Minnesota USA. I'm a proud Liberian like Millions of other Liberians. Look forward to visiting my country soon. Thank you for this Documentary it was very touching and interesting

Wow great presentation. I really love the way you inspiring ladies are showcasing our wonderful country. I am truly inspired. I can definitely relate to Tanya. Myself born 1982, fled to Ivory Coast as a refugee before immigrating to the US. I have this burning desire to someday return and contribute to this rebuilding process. O by the way Beulah you gal I enjoyed the poem, you rocked.
I enjoyed this documentary. I feel so inspired from the great work you ladies are doing in Liberia. It makes me excited about what I've dreamed about doing when I go back to Liberia. I would love to empower young girls to pursue STEM education, as I am very passionate about bringing up more young engineers, especially young women in STEM education. Thank you
Couz, you never let us down. I'm very proud of how far you've gone and how much influence you're having on people like us in North America and worldwide.
Ms. Urey you are doing a great job. You and a couple of Liberians are doing great for people like myself who were born in the US but went back at a young age and left as an early teenager and have never visited the country in 35 plus years. I actually look you up consistently to see what’s happening. You are easing the hesitation about ever visiting the country. Actually eating lunch at work and watching this CNN clip. Impressive!!!
Indeed, these women are the true proud of Liberia & they’re always putting smiles on the face of mama Liberia in the world. I’m really, really proud of you guys & we all need to take Liberia to the world positively. Myself is working along with a disability group & by God’s grace, I’m coming down soon to Liberia to meet with them. Let us keep on praying for our nation mama Liberia.
Thanks so much for the amazing work and hope your giving our nation Liberia and the young people Ms. Urey. Thanks to the other zealous and passionate young women.
Chai this video made my day the story ginger my heart & it gives hope to Africans in diaspora. Even though I am 9ja pikin but this is the way forward. Keep showing the positive about the content because the negative has been sold for centuries. I really appreciate your work. Abdul Omo 9ja USA

Strong up sis, I said it before and am going to say it again, It Will take our women to transform Africa into the Africa we need as our women naturally have that driving force, Our women or way stronger mentally, more and dedicated and grounded than us men or, and as it is, men always chased after women, So if our women or doing positive things, It won't take much for men to follows, Stay strong up sis
This was a wonderful piece by CNN and well deserved for you. I visited Liberia in 2014 just as ebola started and I will return again. Keep up the good work. Have you considered opening a TV studio in Monrovia?
The hands of The Almighty God is upon Liberia. Liberia is blessed in abundance of God's favor, blessings, protections peace and success. Liberian has great, caring, God's fearing and honest leaders. Liberian is safe, healthy, prosperous and self sufficient. People from all over the world will want to come and be a part of This Beautiful Blessed Liberia in Jesus name.
Max k, from all the positive attributes the only thing that concerns you is the American accent? What difference does any accent make? Everybody has one depending on where you come from, don't be so petty, it really not a big deal .
Greetings Philimena I wish you and your group an abundance of success, some of the things you could encourage government to speed things up is the following, open the door for the diaspora to get citizenship , set up a large trade and technical school , set up an large agriculture school , a large training hospital , upgrade the existing university and a large brick and blocks making company so you could build massive amount of houses. Liberia is America's step child and she owes billions to her, she give give billions to others and help them. Inform the diaspora to work on that..USA.
Her uncle was involved with warlord Charles Taylor. Hence her ability to enjoy life in a country with massive poverty, next to 0 infrastrucutre and no security and the worst African leaders you can imagine. There i solved it for yall
You will fail in what you are trying to achieve. We liberian people love our beautiful beloved homeland liberia is the second home of all black African and diaspora 🇱🇷🤎🇱🇷🤎🇱🇷🤎
@@Handsome.Liberian.African yeah right, second home for who. In the midst of criminals and psychos. You know how many women and children are raped in that country and the criminals are allowed to roam free? spare me
