Hear hear. This sort of thing (forgetting someone) seems to happen a lot in high profile cases, think Ron Goldman (Nicole and OJ case) and too many others to mention. I cant imagine what that must be like for the poor family of the murder victim who is routinely left out of every news cast as though they didn't quite matter, at least as much as someone else?
Why would someone do this? A successful hard working business owner, who fires problem employees, a classid story of the hatred and jealousy held by the "have nots", against the "haves". They wanted what the owner had, just didn't want to have to work hard to EARN it.
Makes a strong case against certain countries for immigration. They just do NOT fit in, in so many ways. If the two daughters had of been there as well they would have been raped for the 19 hours then butchered just like the rest of them. Those A holes wouldn't have cared one bit. You know I watch ALOT of criminal, mass shooting/murders, serial murders, etc documentaries........ but this one really hit my heart. The torture of the young man to get at the Dad just destroyed my heart. The whole thing did ! :(
And I'm very easy going and eant for everyone to be free and be equal and have rights as a human being , but when you hear things like this where a wonderful family and Sava and his dad give these people an opportunity to work at a great job and they act like animals and psychopathic..... His personal assistant, forgot his name, lived in the same apartment complex as Wint’s sister in D.C., close to the mansion. I think there was connection there and Wint realized exactly how to physically extort the money cuz the assistant knew about the family finances and business. So obvious.
Two large pizzas for one person? And certainly not for the victims. This indicates that there must have been more than on killer. Offer the fiend a plea bargin for a reduced sentance to 150 years for names.
I agree and that's the first thing I thought of when I saw the 2 different pizzas ordered. No way were the poor family given any while being tortured and brutally raped and beaten. I also think the crime itself shows there were more than just 1 person doing it. People tend to get more emboldened and vicious in groups of more than 1. I wish they could administer a truth serum to Wint or something like that! To think the other(s) are out walking around is very disturbing.

I suspect the other housemaid. The call from her boss telling her not to come to work was planned. She can't say she didn't hear the scream in the background to be suspicious that something was quite right. The call was important to justify her not being at the house.
This is sad and so wrong but what's also sad is the CNN forgets the maid, not even hear from the maid family because many families and friends are mourning that maid she too was loved. RIP to all
Little Phillip was such a cute little kld. Glad the girls were in boarding school. to escape this fate. Awful to find out what happened to their parents and Brother. & lovely housekeeper. How terrible it was for The Housekeepers husband. She was working for their future. May God Rest Their Souls.
I'm been watching all kind of criminals documentaries and etc but honestly this one really made me sick and extremely angry just to know how they parents of that young guy suffered to knowing they beloved son screaming and begging for help 😭 but they couldn't do anything to save him 😭😭😭😭
This shows just how well gun control works. This is the state of Washington D.C's falt. they make it so hard for the citizens to own firearms, and they can't defend themselves from these cowards that prey on the vulnerable. I pray for the family.

I like it when my bank is a lil suspicious I feel they're looking out for me 👍 Housekeeper claims that she knows them very well and calls and hears screaming in the background & it doesn't find it odd or kind of weird for such a quiet & dignified family??? The housekeeper didn’t receive the calls immediately. It was a voicemail. She also received a text message but did not respond u til the next day. She had not seen it.
So many people went there while the horrific things going on inside.. But sadly none of them felt fishy or strange... There are so many "what If " god why
He 1000% had an accomplice. This is definitely a 2 man job. Why 2 pizzas? I seriously doubt the family ate anything being under the circumstances they were in.
Your home can only be your sanctuary after you make it your fortress. People are very unprepared for any type of crime against them. The husband of the housekeeper should have been more vigilant. If you get a bad feeling about something go ahead and call the cops out to do a check for you.
The whole ordeal is heartbreaking but listening to what that poor innocent baby endured broke my entire soul that poor baby can ne heard in the background of that call screaming 😭 that poor sweet baby stabbed taunted tortured and burned to a crisp I can only hope he was gone before the fire started 😭 ugh but he still suffered pain all alone in his room without his parents by his side what a sick disgusting monster I hope he got the death penalty for this horrific crime
This story is way bigger than the police pay grade. It was a sacrifice so many hints for people to call the police but none of those contacted did. That guy captured is a scapegoat. The location of the house itself is a clue...RIP

it’s been a year and I still think about this case at night. what criminal committing a violent, bloody quadruple murder would be stupid enough to leave a pizza crust that he ate behind? in an enormous house where no other evidence was found besides a random hair which can’t even hold up in court as valid evidence? i keep rewatching video after video to find something that i’ve missed. i officially know everything there is to know about this. it feels unhealthy how much empathy I feel for all of the victims involved. but i don’t know what to trust. things like this don’t just happen. rest in peace vera, you can feel her bright spirit through her photos. her name isn’t said enough.
To most people, direct DNA evidence is the most solid evidence anyone could hope for in prosecuting a case. I know you find it hard to believe, but even cold hearted, diabolical murderers make mistakes. I'm not sure what you''re talking about. They never said Abigail was sick, they say the wife Amy was sick and so the husband called the second housekeeper to tell her she had the day off because the first housekeeper offered to stay instead.
The husband of the housekeeper should of called police that when her wife didn't come home; him going over to the mansion and knocking on the door only to have Mr.Saava call him and the husband is just outside fuuuck I can't even go on.
Since other countries sometimes help US with cases and vice versa,I think they should ask Russia if they think they can get the Truth out of this Perp and if they think they can send him there for Questioning.
This is what i dont understand and just maybe these victims could still be saved.When the housekeeper got the message and there was screams in the background.Why didn't she just report it to the police?
