Around 5 minute mark, there is that quite wide area without of any real growth, had there ever been anything there? Booties for Luna?

Not sure. Earliest map I can find is 1966, so who knows what was there prior to that date. As I indicated in the video, lots of logging operations in area back in the 40s and 50s. I've looked into boots, but not sure they would work. We have ones for her for the winter, and she has a knack for kicking them off. I'm sure she'd lose them pretty quick. We'll have to do our best with the trailer. I think it will be easier as I hike the Graham Sub as there aren't the same ballast issues as on the Kinghorn.

It’s ironic that you mentioned the work involved with the embankments. When I was watching I was thinking to myself about the tremendous amounts of fill required for this line alone. It would be quite the effort with today’s modern equipment let alone using steam shovels from yesterday… I like many others really enjoy the adventures that you video. Most of all narrating the historical features makes it all the more interesting!

@@chooch9816 It is crazy when you think about it. So much work. I’m glad you appreciate the narration. As a history teacher, I treat these like history lessons. There’s always a story to tell. Was just doing some digging over breakfast for future hikes in the fall. Found a few good things!

Are you ever able to fit any RR stuff into your lessons? Knowing how curriculum is set by the MoE.

I slide a few things in here and there. Railways are pretty important in Canadian history so you can always find a connection.

It's a long story behind the name. The short version is that I started out making video for the high school football team I coach. Our school is the St. Patrick Fighting Saints, so that is how Angry Irish Productions was born.
