Co-Ed Schools vs Non Co-Ed Schools: Which Are Better? 

Simple:single ed is good for parents and Co-ed:is good for students 😅

I am in 12 th grade and last to last year i passed out from an all girls school If any parent is reading my comment Plz i request u don't send ur child to a gender segregated school It only means keeping them away from reality Personal growth is far more important than academics and career U should not separate them from opposite gender during their main growth years I'm saying this coz now I'm experiencing extreme social akwardness I can't even look at a boy's face I have stopped going to social gatherings and i just hate theway i am I don't want anyone else to go through all this So plz🙏🙏

My school recently became a COED school and there is complete change in school atmosphere. Teachers respect degraded. (To look cool) Seniority degraded. Discipline degraded. My seniors juniors even classmates engaged in love affairs. Everyone's ego and self respect has increased. My school is ruined now . Some people say coed improves SOCIAL COMMUNICATION SKILL . According to me a shy person will remain shy even among the boys . And if someone is not able to communicate with opposite gender then he/she lacks proper education ( to treat everyone equally ).

The kids who want to go to coed but parents won't allow are the ones watching this

It is more probable that in Co- ed Schools, U have the Normality of making Friends with the Opposite Sex, just Similar to Same Sex Friends, develop Caring, Helping, Love & Respect for each Other, all these the Outcomes of the Opportunity to dilute Physical, Mental, Psychological & Emotional Distances & Coming Near in All these Regards but Simultaneously the Difference between the Physical & Emotional Structures of a Boy & Girl or between a Man & Woman Exist as Created by Nature & Continue to be the Source of Physical & Sexual Attraction unless the Guys & Girls Learn the Art of Self- Control & Civilized Behaviour & Mechanisms of Control Like Meditation & Yoga. At times, when the Secret Body Parts of Opposite Sexes get revealed many Times to Each Other & even the Ugly Part of those, as always Present being the Other Side of Coin, get Revealed then automatically, the Unusual or Unnecessary Sex feelings turn to get Normalised & Sincerity takes its Place.

To me non-coed is the best way of education specially for boys because boys are more competitive & do better among themselves but in coed school they interact with girls well but become less attentive in their studies. That's why in CBSE &ICSE BOARD exams boy have lowest pass rate and perform badly. The consequence of coed education is very bad for boys.

Co ed schools are better than unisex schools.Even in respect of moral values co ed schools are better.If we or our children don't behave if they are in co ed schools then something is very terribly wrong with us. And this is coming from someone with conservative inclination.I will not agree with liberals in respect of dress controversies and other urbane lifestyle.

Want to add a point/ In ancient India co education was popular. In ASHRAMS co education was common think. It's not a western culture!

2:35 what the boy said that boys and girls form groups among themselves is what actually happened in my school, girls and boys used to sit in different rows and only talk to each other. The girls in my school used to put rakhi's on boys in Rakhi festival, coed schools in India are a joke.

Two things can be true, and truth is usually in the middle. I think that there should be some co-ed educational electives and social activities, including recess/nutrition, lunch, dances, study groups, and some single ed has benefits we can not ignore. I do believe that generally men and women can not be taught the same way to get the most out of them with few exceptions that can be accommodated. I also think some teachers are better at teaching and reaching one gender over the other. Some are good with both. Equality is through learned behavioral values that can be taught best if you learn to value yourself. To me, the biggest discrepancy is the low salary of educators and the imbalance of male and female instructors. Many issues students are having in either co-ed vs single may go away with better instructors.

Life is Coed. Like less interaction between Male and Female is what the world needs. Talkng from exp. I went to religious MALE ONLY school and it screwed us up a lot lol.

Upto 12 th separate but after 12th while graduation and above co education will beneficial. But there should be a option for girl's colleges also.

I am form North America and I work in higher ed. But when I look at elementary and Middle school, it is overwhelmingly female teachers catering the female students. And it shows. Females outperform males academically by almost every metric. The curriculum seem to be more catered to females as well. PE is reduced whereas physical education is especially important for young boys. I vehemently believe in gender segregation of schools until college because it is better for the boys. That will also bring back the male teachers. Seriously, which young man wants to teach in an elementary school? You got to be kiddin me

I hate the word 'Feminism". Majority of the Girls, if you research and study then you will know that they care about their responsibilities and never try to runaway from it. But the same is not true for Majority of Boys. Refer to Manushi Chiller's (Miss World 2017 India) answer why she didn't say fatherhood is the best profession, as the reason is, you can see in the entire world, more than 90% of the single parenting cases include Single Women (mother), its really very rare to see a single man (father) taking care of a child. Now would you deny this fact? We women still don't demand that we are great. Its a fact that we are designed by nature and creation in such a way that we can bear and care more smoothly than men. Only we are at faults that we let the Men rule on us unfairly. We let them give their surname to their sons/daughters even though those kids also belong to a mother. In many countries, it is strictly mandatory/compulsory rules for a lot of academic institutions that the students have to write their father's name in their forms otherwise they are not allowed for the admission. So I don't agree with you that everyone is equal on the basis of gender. But i do agree when it comes to basic Human rights, where everyone deserves some freedom. Biologically speaking, Men and Women aren't equal. Agree or not that's your problem. i don't care if you are triggered with this fact.
