@@draklust1017 bruh just because something wouldnt fit lorewise doesnt mean it shouldnt be implimented. sometimes its simply about having fun, and what better way than to play with friends . Remember if it existed it wouldnt be forced.

True. But some how I can't find a mod to skip the battery animation in the Doom Fortress.

I think what would be great if the vanilla game had coop is coop glory kills for bosses, imagine if the cutscene had 2 slayers stabbing the icon of sin with crucibles

Oh that's what you mean. I added that in there since Co-op launched.

Co-op would probably break the game’s balance, unless they add some extra enemies. Makes me wonder how doom eternal would have turned out if covid wasn’t in the way. And texas blackout

would also be cool to have some sort of "infinite" mode. Like Mordhau horde or warframe survival mission.

Hopefully, DooM The Dark Ages will have this.

@@2025fahaddenseje I dont think it really matters if it breaks game balance, wouldve been fun either way, couldve just made it such that co-op is unlocked only after your first playthrough so that everyone gets the "true" experience or just added native mod support so that mods like these are easier to install and play

That's been done before. Have you seen Delta's The Holt in his TAG1 master campaign? It's quite janky which is why no one else wants to port the Icon of Sin to other levels.

Both players respawn back at the beginning of the map and must redo whatever combat encounter(s) they died in. There are checkpoint portals that will take you close to where you died.

Those are the number of rounds "won" from the Battlemode logic this mod pulls from.
