In today’s video I shared my personal experience growing up in a home that didn’t look like the movies or many of my friends’. Divorce and separation can be confusing and hard on kids, and definitely leave a deep hunger for something different in your own future family. When things go differently and you end up repeating the cycle- it can be especially difficult. But thanks to only GOD for good co parenting and grace in the hearts of all of Cartias family- this year was so so special. I’m smiling as I write this knowing the hurt that came from so many years of dis-unity when I was young.
This is your sign, this is a reminder.. that things can change! Loving people is never the wrong answer! Have grace with yourself and with others. There is so much to learn and absorb from those around you no matter how dim a situation may seem.
