hey man i just want to drop my 2 cent: if you're trying to talk about nationalism and how it influences judges then that's fine because that has happened in the past. France has been known to be biased with bboy battles when it comss to judging. But to say that dance styles are influenced by a nationality is far fetched. If that was true we would see similar characteristics from people that come from similar nations. JayGee vs Hoan / Nelson vs Salah / Kite vs Guuchon / Slim Boogie vs Boogie Frantick. Nah dude they all have different styles, different taste, and different approaches to dance regardless where they were born. Each individual is unique and has a way to express themselves regardless of nationality.

But this problem is money and we cant vote to judge.

Japan popping and fans of it are stuck in the past. They like goofy boogaloo puppet style which is typical in dances from people like Guchon.. Looks terrible. And skillfully Guchon doesn't compare to Greenteck.

For me, Gucchon wins the 1st and Nelson wins the 2nd.

They are not dancing to the lyrics, they are mentioning to follow the rhythm and beat of the song.

Gucchon is the best popper alive imo. He is light years ahead of Greenteck. What greenteck knows, Gucchon already knows. Teck is my second fav popper behing Gucchi. However, Teck still has a lot to learn before he catches to Gucchon

@@smoothcriminal28 Greenteck since 2018 I already grabbed Gucchon's hand and I think it was only a matter of time, since Gucchon does not evolve many in movements, he does not have the versatility of green or in movement, nor management of dance styles.

nah you're right but popping has a violent origin...popping battles had some real gangster shit with people putting other people's faces in their junk. greentech is doing it right but yeah today popping battles aren't like that and probably most viewers won't like it.

Sandwichocolate great comment. I totally agree. Green is gonna be the big bad embodiment of west coast popping with his MZK vest, hitting like nobodies business, when he's threatened. But if he has it in the bag, he seems to relax. I'm a fan of that form to be honest.

Artifacts407 Yes, it’s quite nice to see them challenge each other the way they supposed to do. Greenteck had an incredible run and I was so amazed by it. But then he would always go a bit over the top and it’s just obnoxious. He needs to know when to stop and how to challenge his opponent with respect.

greenteck is the popping monster, the only one who always innovates.

I see the same comments on all of his videos...It's who he is sometimes in his dance. That's how he does. And to be honest, after its over, its respect anyways. I guarantee youtube watchers care more about it than Gucchon or Kei does.They give props and move on. Perception is a crazy thing. It makes me think of Salah, one of the most insulting dancers there is. He just does it with a smile so people laugh and think its funny. Nothing Greenteck does is even remotely close to what Salah does. It's just the way it's presented and how its perceived. Something to think about.

I don't think Nelson is a bad couple, Nelson is very good, only his dance style does not stand out much, but Nelson's dance style is effective, he has a very clean execution and he does not make mistakes in his rounds, he is very regular .
