I originally came here looking for tips on what products and styles to use on my daughter's curly hair but I watch every video because the hair transformations and styles are always so amazing!!
Can I just say, that I love how your videos are to the point! I love that you are clear, concise and the styles always come out fabulously! Thank you for your videos!
yay for black women doctors! I'm in my first year of med school. I got my hair braided a few weeks ago to save on time, but I miss having it out. I need to perfect the wash and go :)
So i saw the thumbnail and got exited, thinking she was type 4 hair but nope lol. Still hoping to see more of that, since I have type 4 hair. Anywho, she has beautiful defined hair! You do very good work Mo.
I was thinking the same thing!! Very few people have hair like this in my opinion. If they do, they already know how to deal with it cuz its easier. Oh well. One day. (:
I liked Carol's Daughter when I first started my journey two years ago but I clearly need to revisit it! Her texture is so similar to mine! This was very helpful.
She's beautiful! I'm going to purchase this system and see if I will have similar results. We have a very similar hair texture and cur pattern so I can't wait! Mo you rock!!!
I would like to thank you so much for this! My hair looked exactly like the before and now looks exactly like the after!!! You're amazing thank you so much! :)
ULTRAAAA CUTE! I may have to revisit Carol's Daughter's products since I had a bad experience with a shampoo...I don't remember seeing the Hair milk line a year ago...Thanks for the vids Mo!
Great tutorial as always Mo. I really like this method, I think this will work best because my hair is curly and thick. I'm still trying to get my wash n go's to work.
My daughter has this type of hair and all she does is complain about doing it. She is 15 yrs old. She runs track, so hopefully her curls can stand up to this. Does not cover her hair at night and gets tangles with lots of shedding. Im gonna try this to see if it will work on her hair. I have the hair milk refresher hope it helps.
Hot yoga nearly killed me lol.I just stick to lifting weights. Big props to the Dr. if she's able to do it so often! Amazing hair outcome as well!I love the movement.
Her hair is so beautiful. I have yet to try carol's daughters, but after watch your videos i think i should give it a try. I seem to have an issue with dryness. I'm transitioning and i'm guessing its because my relaxed ends like the conditioner i'm using but my natural hair doesn't. Which line from carol's daughters do you think caan help with that? Or another line if you have any suggestions. Thanks :)
Mo, I tried the Monoi line and did the routine you did on your sister's hair...didn't turn out as expected! LOL I love the monoi shampoo and conditioner-it hydrates my hair and makes my curls pop. I just ordered the milk leave in moisture, foam and vanilla moisture hair sheen. I'm going to use the Monoi shampoo conditioner and shampoo (because my hair LOVES it) with the milk and hopefully I'll get better results. The first successful wash and go was two weeks ago, I used the Monoi conditioner and Giovanni weightless leave in. But it only lasted 1 day.
Mo, I love you so much!!! As always you work magic. I wish you lived near me . . . BTW, my hair hasn't been relaxed in two years, this picture's from a makeover program, but that's my actual face.
Beautiful! Both the model and the hair!! Plus, I love your thorough explanation of the ingredients. Do you think these products will work for kinkier hair textures? I want to try Carol's Daughter, but it looks like this product line caters to looser curl patterns.
Mo, you absolutely rock!!! Is there any way you could do a video styling a wash and go on short hair with 4a curls using Carol's Daughter? I need help! Thanks
I noticed you only put the cleanser on the length of hair. Did you massage it into the scalp? I guess my question is, When co-washing, what do you do to cleanse the scalp?
I started transitiong back in 12 and my grew a lot with the help of sew-ins, but now that i'm completely natural I don't think my hair is growing the way it should. I've been fully natural since 13' and my hair to me isn't as long and thick as I like it or I think it should be help!! P.S. I wear a lot of sew-ins and my hair type I think is a type 3c
I have tried the leave-in, but I am not crazy about the scent. To me it smells like a really strong Henna, but that's just my nose. Also I have 4C hair and I use it on wet hair after shampooing, but I can't say that it was all that moisturizing. I used to swear by the Margarites Magic though, I might revisit some other products. Thanks for the vid.
Mo this looks great! Only thing is, carols daughter products dry my hair out big time! I have the same curl type and length as this lady in this video. Any suggestions to help me? Thanks....
Hi I love your videos! I just started following you! They are very helpful to me! When I use my blow dryer to diffuse my hair for my wash n go it comes out very frizzy even though I oil and moisturize it! Do I need a new blow dryer or is it just my hair!? Please and thank you!
I love youre videos!!!! I was wondering if you had any tips for crazy busy college students with no time thanks so much!!! A quick college series would be amazing! -Fatimah AKA crazy busy college student lol
I love what you did with her hair.mi am a natural sista with 3c&4a hair and I luv hot yoga and working it out. I am also a very busy professional and often skip workouts because I won't have time to deal with my hair. I'm going to try this routine. Many many many thanks. I want you to do my hair. I. In NYC though. :(
Have you tried these products on a tighter coil. While all the reviews are great for CD. I just don't think there are universal for a curls. (Tight to wavy)
hey Mo!! I'm a little bit confuse , my hair in the back is 3c but in the front is a 4b what should I do to blend them together well? I don't know what to , it pissing me off :(
Hi, um, i need some help. I have shoulder length hair (bra line length if stretched) and i'm confused. My family has a really weird curl pattern. When our hair is just dry (no moisturizer or water or anything in it) it coils up but but it's also wavy. It's like if i were going by the 'LOIS' hair typing system, i am an 'O' and an 'S' and i don't know what hair type that would be. Also, at the beginning of the video, her hair is really wavy like an 'S' type, and my hair looks exactly like that but only when i take out braids from my hair. And if i were to stretch my hair out (still dry) it's like an 'S' like pattern. I'd really like to start going natural soon because i'm young (turning 16 in a couple of days) and i'd like to let my hair take a break since i've been using weave since 11. My hair has always been long, when blow dried it's shoulder length and the front is longer then my chin. Sorry for this being so long but i've watched so many videos and i can't seem to figure out what my hair type is or how to transition to going natural. All of my friends have seen how long my natural hair is (mostly when it's straightened) and they've all told me i should start going natural but i never knew how. Please help me, you're such an inspiration!
Ok this is a serious question: Why do ppl often ask if Mo can do the exact same style on type 4 hair? The difference between 3&4 is just the SIZE of the curl, not the actual pattern or anything else, so couldn't you use the same application and styling method that she shows here? Mo if you could comment, or answer in a video/blog post I would really appreciate it, bc I just really don't get why there's this perceived "exception" to handling type 4 hair. I have 4a hair and it's really not that different as far as styling/care practices shown in the 3c vids on this channel. Thanks for all the knowledge you share btw :)
lovehatebeauty2010 You are correct, it's all about modifying to fit your hair. I try and show similar styles across hair types to demonstrate that different textures can have the same styling methods, just may have to use different products.
:( I seriously need you as my stylist to revive my hair ! I just need to be taught what to do , and my 2 year anniversary on being natural is today and I still really don't have shine to my hair it looks so dry. im not sure what products are right for my hair ...
