CO2 triple point 

I saw supercritical CO2 once, it was awesome. It got liquid at once, withoud bubbles and it started to spin around very fast like it's being centrifuged. Thsi was under a lot of pressure in a massive machine at my university.

coexist *in equilibrium. so the three phases would all have to remain existent in the test tube for a prolonged period of time.

i was wondering if it was under pressure or not, then i was all "oooo shit" when i saw it bulging. :D

@nuclearrabit I know, but I saw some other triple point videos and you could clearly see it boil freeze and condense at the exact same time. I'm not sure who's right :)

At 20 C, it takes 823 psi to keep CO2 as liquid. That's a lot of pressure!
