Keep these type of interviews coming, great way to get a deeper dive into the nfl inside community, real fans appreciate it. I think this will explode your channel, hope the best for this guy!
Great get for the channel Sam! I think this interview was in line with what I perceive the mission or goal of your channel to be, which is providing good, in-depth, football analysis that educates your viewers. Lot of people do interviews but your questions did focus on more technical nuances of the d-line and I learned a lot! E.g. why interior pressure v exterior pressure are both important for sacks, what they work on etc.
Crazy how little recognition this great channel receives. I’m definitely not a seahawk fan, but I’ve been a notification guy for years because of sams knowledge of the sport. There isn’t a talking head on espn that studies like gold does
@@SamuelGoldNFL I’ve watched so much film and studied so many players that truthfully I’m not even a fan of any single team. I do love your rookie film episodes though. Keep those up and I’ll stick around forever 😂
I'll be honest, I have close to zero desire to look at Lock or Geno. Too painful... During the regular season, I'll consider it depending on how the team is doing.
@@SamuelGoldNFL Careful editing can make either of them look elite. Pete has commented extensively on Geno's performance last year, and he views it as an evolution that ended with his near perfect game against the Jaguars, I believe. He was a good game manager in that game, but to my mind, he still looked uncomfortable in the pocket. And I've seen wonderful "highlights" on youtube of Lock. Anyways, thanks for the work.
@@SamuelGoldNFL I can see that compassion might be a hinderance to a career in the short term, but honesty and compassion will serve you well in the long term.
I always find it weird when people on videos in their house have no decorations or photos on the wall, nothing. Coach Ed looks like he's squatting in an unfurnished house in East LA lol
When I was a hippie hand troller in Alaska returning to Seattle I met a group of young horse trainers. One was successful and prosperous, a couple of them were beginners hoping to become "successful" and one was a one horse owner/trainer who remined me of my fishing career. Starting out with nothing but trying to make a go of it, and learn the art of fishing by diving in and doing it, but consulting with masters of fishing. This guy reminds me of that. I wish him well, and maybe we will watch him develop his teaching skills until he is a master and joins an NFL team or remains an independent but iconic coach in the NFL.
