Yes you’re absolutely correct. The simplified heat stamp logo, such as on the Brooklyn and Empire, will be their unifying branding between both, starting with the high line sneaker being one of their first products launched simultaneously on both sites. We’ll be seeing more of that happening in the future for their “Coach One” program
Oh wow. I didn't even notice the high line was released on both sites. I know a lot of people who don't like the heat stamp logo because they think it looks too "outlet cheap". So now it makes sense from this perspective. I personally don't mind the logo and look forward to seeing where this new direction leads 💛
Totally agree with all you’ve said. As regular consumers of all things Coach, we are on these sites often, know the inventory and pricing of both Retail & Outlet, so any changes like this we catch. I haven’t had a chance to speak to an SA personally, but agree they are blurring the lines now to move towards one Coach. It’s interesting to be so aware of a brand and how they operate to watch the changes unfold.
To me i like to stay informed about things I like. If not just buying the goods but the behind the scenes, the business, the economics, the politics of it all. I'm glad I'm not the only one noticing these things. 💛
I was looking at a couple outlet bags but they just randomly increased the price $20. I think I have enough bags. I don’t like these games coach is playing lol.
Hey girl, 👋 hey! I live in Texas and was at the outlet a few weeks ago. I noticed, the outlet has Coach Tabbys in stock!😮 not discounted but regular price Tabby’s! I also noticed on the website, there is a tab for Coach and another tab for Coach Outlet! You are right! 😊
Do you have both stores close to you? I wish I at least jad one close to me that carries both merchandise so that I can see it all. My stores are 2 hours and 2.30 hours away from me 💛
I guarantee you one reason for the combination of the outlet and retail stores is the Klarna option for payment. Before that wasn’t an option, so it makes sense to skew the lines between two. Now they will hold off on discounts on bags because you can pay in installments if you truly want the bag.
Hmm, I never thought about it this way. If I can buy a retail bag and pay in installments, why would I buy an outlet bag? And if I a discounted bag still has an option for installmental payment then why not raise the price? Definitely food for thought. 💛
Hi Temi, great points made about outlet and retail selling each other items. Similarly, it’s being done on the outlet website where they mix retail items with outlet items. Therefore, if someone only shops outlet they get retail items sprinkled in! I’ve also noticed a price increase on items at the outlet as well. For example, when the outlet released the large Rowans they were $179…now those large Rowans are $199! I guess in time we will see what Coach’s end goal is but they are slowly preparing us for the change. Great video….TFS! 💜👍🏾
Slowly preparing us is a great way to put it. I think those Rowans were so popular they saw that they could increase them and still sell. Coach games! 💛
To be honest Coach is confusing us now. I saw Kelsey sandal for 50% off on the outlet website but same sandal is full price of $225 on the boutique. They should not merge both together pls!
