Deion Sanders is failing miserably!!! Please tell me what he's accomplished and before you say he won four games last year, the 14th he beat wound up with losing records. He didn't win those four games with the same team he won them with a totally rebuilt program with only three players left off of the team the year before. The only thing he has done is bring a lot of revenue in to Boulder Colorado

I like your optimism but reality is the remainder of the season will be tough for them. Bad part they have ranked opponents that will have their way with them and there are 3 toss up games they could lose simply because they can’t run the ball. This squad can’t run the ball. I rooted for coach like many others but there’s no player development going on there. Top recruits won’t go there because of that and there’s no winning mentality or results. Coach sanders longevity whether he will stay is in question as well. Regardless, Colorado hasn’t been a top tier football program in a while. I think their front office/admin really care about the attention he is bringing, and he is but I think by week 7-8 if they don’t have at least 4 wins then tensions will start to set in. Coach sanders is a motivator. I think he would’ve been a decent position coach but he didn’t play a position in his career that allows him to truly be a X’s/O’s type of guy. Coaching is more strategic with the entire field play in all phases. I hate that he left the swac but Jackson St and the filth of jackson did him wrong. I wish he would’ve went to Texas southern in the swac. He definitely could’ve pulled some dawgs and reigned in the swac!

There is a lot going on not just on the field, and this is what I respect about coach if I had a son this is where he would go because it's not just the x's and o's it is the complete student with real life leadership
First of all I think the defense has been good this far. The offense has to move the ball better and take time off the clock. In other words give the defense some time to rest. Really they only gave up 21 points. With this offense that should be good enough to win
The offensive scheme has to change. Zero and 10 personnel just isn't gonna cut it. It's beyond apparent. 11, 12, 21 and 22 personnel needs to be worked in, WITH some motion and pre-snap eye candy. Until those things happen, it'll be status quo.
Defense got marched on at will by NDSU and Nebraska. Every time Nebraska ran a man coverage beater it worked, they ran base day 1 install plays the second half, anyone with understanding of football scheme knows this.
Im hoping his coaching knowledge increases at this level, but Lowkey, Deion would make a much better AD than a head coach with his ability to market, fund raise, and recruit.
Because all he does is run his mouth. Has nothing if substance to say. Cant coach and is more concerned about his kids than developing anyone else on the team. He is the definition of all flash and no substance!

28 total RB rush attempts in two games is not committing to the run. 72 pass attempts by Sheduer and 78 drop backs in that same span. We played against a light box all night vs. Nebraska. So, if Coach Prime and staff don't address this, it will unfortunately be his downfall. Hard to continue defending the national narrative that this offense is merely a showcase for Sheduer and Travis when we refuse to run the ball while speaking the same excuses. It's not that we can't run the ball, it's we choose not to run the ball. Zero variety in the run game and it seems they call run plays to simply so they can say they made an attempt. I'm hoping Nebraska was a wake up call, but I'm concerned.
@@tylerbenoit-s7xHayden ran well. Running Charlie up the middle on 4th&1 just isn’t a smart option. Poor playcalls don’t reflect on the capabilities of the running game. Perhaps they should throw the ball on the rare occasion the defense is expecting the run. Also, Shedeur has a weird habit of holding the ball on handoffs as if it’s play action… this slows down the runner and telegraphs the gap for the defense.

There are people who just hate Deion Sanders for whatever reasons and will come up with some of the most ridiculous reasons to justify their hatred of Deion to satisfy their own conscience! People who really know the game of football on all levels , how to play it, have played it on all levels, and have coached it on all levels except the NFL, know people say the most ridiculous comments about Coach Prime's and CU coaching staff's decision making concerning their game plan and strategies for the Buffs in a game. So being a an exceptionally strong man and confident in who he is as a man, a Coach, he never lets the world tell him who he is, what he can be, what he can do, or what he can have! Deion Sanders knows who he is as a son of God and as an unlimited spiritual being. This is the reason he thinks, speaks, feels, acts, and reacts differently than the average person who is an unbeliever or one who is religious but lacks a higher level of spiritual understanding . It is what it is! Coach Prime stays focused as a multi- tasker and keeps it moving!
When it’s all said and done, people have a right to like and dislike who they want. And he and his staff have been out coached and beat over and over again. Because it’s levels to this. This is not SWAC football. And it was easy when he could use his influence to bring the top recruits to the SWAC and bully Alcorn, Grambling and other SWAC programs, but showed he wasn’t the best coach when NC Central beat us (JSU) in the championship game, us having more talent than anyone on SWAC level. Y’all let yall biasedness lead yall, when it’s unfolding that he is not a great coach on the PWI level.
The crazy part is they actually have good running backs this year that are big and solid .. I don’t understand how we don’t have a package for when there is pressure

@SouthernEmperor no hate. But the honest truth that Coach Prime does not have this team looking good or competitive at all. I even thought they would win or at least compete to try to win nothing but a a giant goose egg as the final result. Hell they got lucky and won the first game. If adjustments are not made on the offensive' defensive line or run game. This Colorado team, will go an a losing streak big time, and the competition is going to get tougher.
Real talk... who's under more of a microscope than Deion Sanders? But what's amazing about that is that he puts himself there, and that's why he's such a champion. That's why he's one of the two or three best to ever put on a football uniform. And he is sincerely interested in the young men that he coaches, that is so clear. And the young women who he leads as well as part of his overall team beyond the team on the field. People take shots at him all the time and he always takes the high road without seeming like he's shying away at all. He's the kind of person that will look you right in your eye and make you justify what you just said, and then make you feel badly about it if you can't reasonably justify it, and he will never attack you. But he will defend. Whether or not he's a great football coach will be determined as time passes, but he is a great coach for sure, and somebody who a lot of other men and women who lead teams and people can learn from. Not to say he doesn't trip up every once in a while, everybody does, he's human, and he'll be the first to tell you that he makes plenty of mistakes, but nobody takes more abuse than this guy. Or accountability. Even if his team loses every game, I think every kid on his roster will receive many life gifts if they are open to that. If they are elevated enough to even understand that. Inspiring to watch this journey.

If they don't perform and their team doesn't progress at some point they all get criticized and fired.I think Prime deserves a longer leash than most coaches due to the attention and money he's brought to the University of Colorado and the state of the program before he took over.When fans don't see improvement on the same issues over and over they're always going to question the Coach because the buck stops with him.

I love PRIME and all he stands for but I’m tired of hearing the excuses on why they don’t EVER establish the RUN GAME! Like the reporter said it would be beneficial for the lineman to be able to be the aggressor sometimes and not having to back pedal and hold there blocks all the time!!! BUILD THE LINE UP AND LET THEM GAIN SOME CONFIDENCE!!! Especially in the beginning of the season they just got together!!! IJS

If the decision on when to run is based on the defensive formation, which is based on the preset offensive formation, why not change your base offensive formation instead of running 4/5 wide shotgun for 95% of the game????
Deion, yes the game dictates if you can run the ball but you have to call the right run plays.. you cannot just pound the ball up the middle every play with the same run formation and expect that the o line is just going to man handle the other team..

I want them to run the ball from the get go and with 3 minutes in the game down 28-10 with the backup qb don’t have your best running back in at that point cause this stuff happens

This game will show if we have dogs or puppies on the line. With all the hate from the media and opposition it hopefully will bring more pride in each player approach and play.
I have to somewhat disagree on the run game assessment. The game is won in the trenches. The run blocking scheme changes based on the number of guys in the box and front alignment. But, you don't cage the dog from the fight. I'm a firm believer in taking away your opponents will to compete. You do that by letting them loose to attack. Football is a full contract sport where the reward is to rise up, not run away.

We only have 24 hours each day, right? I am selective with my time. Which means I do not spend time, mental space, or energy on any person, place, thing, or idea that I find that I do not like. If I do not like someone, it never enters my mind to go to their SM and let them know. That is childish and I hold no significance for that person and vice-versa. Nothing is perfect and time reveals all. Meanwhile, just sit back and enjoy the process. ❤❤

Should Buffs try a few option plays? I was watching the last game, and it seemed like there were more than a few opportunities on the left side. Seemed like left tackle was carrying his weight in that game. Everyone is so focused on Shedeur, maybe set up someone to run, and maybe even pass. I mean, the rush needs to be punished. Best way to punish the rush is to have someone ready to run the ball. Pitch out or something...

Im a fan of coach Sanders and a lifelong CU fan. The defensiveness is wearing thin. Just say you failed as a coach and move on. What a unit does or fails to do is on the leadership. If youre not getting what you want out of players, scheme or coaches is a reflection of leadership.
@@beingmboi23yes what are u talking about your clearly just a Deion sanders fan & not a CFB fan. A 1-1 record in college football usually means your season is over & that’s failing. The goal is to make the playoffs & one lose usually knocks u rite out the playoffs. One lose is a very big deal in CFB esp for a program like CU that’s not that good anyways & they have a hard schedule. They will be lucky if they make a bowl game
@@beingmboi23 if you can be objective even a little bit, you'd include last year and the trajectory. The most alarming thing is the lack of effort and discipline when those things are foundational and not hard to preach. You don't see those issues with much less talented teams because they have less egos. Part of that is an issue with recruiting new players every year and not allowing development. You need to demand accountability, especially from the leadership. You also can't complain about the spotlight when you create it. Live by the sword and die by it.
@@abefrohammer3105 The transfer portal is the new way of getting players. Discipline & accountability has nothing to do with this one lost. Teams have their moments and this was just CU. No one has complained about the media attention, but if one wants to report then report the truth. It’s one game let’s move on to the next game which is a few days away. At the end of the day this is just a game.

As a coach you are suppose to speak confidence into your team. Colorado has been a failing program for years. If he’s comes out and says Travis and his son is the only good players. People would be mad. This man helped his college and community bring in millions. No coach has ever done that. His o-line and D-line was trash last year and he tried again. They are still trash. It’s the players job to show up and do their jobs. He’s rebuilding a program and no one does it overnight. He may talk a lot and has a lot of confidence, but he knows his team isn’t good. Assistants such as offensive coordinators are in control of the play calling and offense. There’s only so many scholarships. You can’t get all five stars and freshmen. It doesn’t equal winning right away either. I’m not a fan and don’t care if they win another game. I just don’t understand trying to speak confidence into a trash ass team and ppl get mad. That man knows he can’t win a national championship. He can’t tell them they’re trash and can’t win. Every coach says that. The NIL era is something we’re not prepared for or understand. Ppl hate the show and tell. Just like podcast nowadays. They are capitalizing on it. Injuries happen and these kids are making money in a new way. He has to do something to get ppl to Colorado. Nobody wanted to go at all. He got a five star this year. Some kind of progress. Clemson refuses the portal and can’t win or compete right now. NCAA sports has changed. I just don’t get the hate. Should he take coaching classes to make sure he’s doing it the way society wants him to? Colorado is an irrelevant team that’s making millions off content creators and negativity. He’s winning even if he doesn’t win another game.

Prime says "you get the facts first" I wish the sports media would follow that. Prime has been built up buy the media and he can't live up to the hype at this point and that's the bottom line. If your ego is that fragile you shouldn't be in a coaching position.

Honestly felt he’s been like that since he got there it’s been corny. Even saying we’re 1-1 & y’all want changes. Just cause ur 1-1 doesn’t mean u can’t see there’s a lot of things that need to be changed to be successful & anyone knows anything about CFB knows 1-1 is terrible esp if ur a team that been screaming playoffs all offseason. One L is huge in CFB, one L & any chances of Playoffs are usually rite out the window even tho everyone knew that didn’t have a real shot at the playoffs. They will be lucky to make the a bowl game
