As soon as you pulled out the wallet, I just knew the bag was next because like you said, how could you not?! 😆 They are meant to be together ☺️ I hate that the clasp isn’t functioning correctly. About to check out the update video, I’m hoping it’s resolved!
Oh I'm so glad to see your update on this! I kept thinking about yours after seeing your video and comment. You are right that we should not have to break them in like that... I also know our other bags didn't have the same issue, which makes it even more odd. I cannot believe it's happening with the lip print too 😱 ugh! I still feel a little worried too, just on the chance that it happens again in the future. One good thing to remember is that we do have a 1 year warranty on all bags from Coach, so we can ask them to fix it/replace it within that window if it doesn't stop. I'm pretty sure their repair service is free too. Keep us posted on what you decide with them! ❤❤

I have had one of my 5 quilted tabby bags stick for a bit but seemed to work fine now after a few openings. I have 3 in the size 26 and two in the size 20. I just love the shape and size and feel of these bags!
@@TheHopefulminimalist yes I have the 26 in Moss, Black & silver, and Buff. The smaller ones are in black n pewter and Buff. The buff color has strangely grown on me. It is a peachy beige/ nude color. I love them all!

The bag is supposed to be opened by the tab. I have the exact lip print and it did the same when I first opened it. It works completely fine after opening it a few times. I don’t think it’s a defect. Thank you for sharing your new items and have a nice weekend.

I am actually REALLY glad you got the chalk with the lip prints all over it. 😆 It gives you the chalk color you love while having a variation to just being chalk. I personally am so glad you had the issue with the clasp in the last video cuz you let people know it’s an issue. Hopefully the suggestion made earlier to pull down as you press it open is the solution cuz THAT bag is PERFECT for your collection. I mean “chef’s kiss” perfect. 😉

This is a great video!! I’m sorry about your clasp issue that would totally annoy me - I haven’t had that issue with mine thankfully but I do worry about the over time wear effects
@Hopefulminimalist No yiu weren't being ridiculous. I totally understand. Maybe instead of pulling on the actual leathet tab. Just put your finger under the tab and pull up on the metal piece if that makes sense. That way, you're not constantly pulling on the actual leather tab. But I'm glad you're able to keep the bag.
Wow, I can’t believe that happened with both bags. I totally understand if you return both bags. That would be really aggravating to one day be out and about and unable to open your bag. Please let us know what you decide.

Hey, check Amazon. I left a comment on your video about this but I don’t know if I didn’t hit submit or what but I got mine from Amazon and it arrived perfectly (if you don’t count the clasp issue) 😞. The clasp is fine now though.
I love this channel! I picked up that same bag with the lips. I’m really thinking of picking up the matching cosmetic bag. I need to double check the clasps on my bags. I played with them when I unboxed them, but actually haven’t worn them yet.
Hmmm.....interesting. Fortunately, I'm not having an issue with mine. I've heard of the grommet (the round piece that the chain strap runs through coming off). I did a Thang too, girl. So stay tuned.
I exchanged mine at Coach. They were really nice about it and did not give me a hard time with exchanging it for another one. Hopefully you’re able to do that.

I definitely think Coach should have taken into consideration the softer leather choice and the locking mechanism. The bandits have the same locking mechanism and I have not hear anyone have issues, nor do I. I think it may stem from the structured rigid make of the bag and leather choice. My quilted tabby wristlet starts to malfunction if I over stuff it. But other than it is perfectly fine. But I think since the leather is softer and it harder for the locking mechanism to recognize when it needs to release. So I guess with time it makes it easier. I maybe completely wrong, but I think that may be a considering factor.
I also noticed that it’s smoother to open them using the bottom leather tab of the flap rather than pulling at the sides of the C logo. Which will wear and tear very horribly after awhile.
You’re right. Thank you for sharing that. I had a bad experience with a gucci marmont and the tab getting bent and I was afraid of that happening here. It’s not the same bag though and it opens much more easily with the tab. Thank you 😊
Not trying to be funny but maybe it needs a little oil, or wax. I know I’ve done they with my zipper. Hope you find a solution that works best for you!! Love the bags and review.
Sometimes flukes make it through even the best quality systems.. So you may have a bag that has zero flaws, others might have flaws. Thats her experience and she is sharing it. 😊 Im grateful that she is sharing this information for others to look out for.
