The first thing, is that the TWB producers are the ones who invited Dimash. Not Dimash applied for the show. Before He accepted it, Dimash has a precondition that he will not compete with kids. And when he knew that he will compete with 2 kids, one of whom is also from his country, he decided to leave. Because as for him, it is unfair for the kids to compete with adults. That is the reasoh why he quit.
Yeah... and when the guy says you knew what u were getting into, apparently, based on what one of the present audience stated, he says that when he was signing the contract it was his condition not to compete with children, but those butchers cut this part from the show! 😠

Thank you for the insights. Dimash has every rights to break the contract and I'm in mixed feelings but I absolutely understand how he felt about this Competition. They are nothing but leaches.
I'm an American Dear and this farce of a show is an embarrassment to many Americans! I've made many, many comments denouncing TWB and CBS! In my opinion, RuPaul and Faith owe sincere, public apologies to Dimash and his country for not respecting his culture! And TWB should be held liable for 1) lying to Dimash in order to obtain his participation 2) falsely representing how the events unfolded. I could go on but I'll settle for that right now. I doubt TWB will have a second season but if by chance they do, I will not watch it!
I second this as an American as well. We know American media is slimy but doing this in front of so many foreign audience is embarrassing. CBS has buried this show. Not a peep about this since it last aired. They know they look very bad and would rather not resurrect this topic for a second a season. Most Americans who may have watched this hasn't been made aware of what really happened and that's how they want to keep it. Shameful shameful shameful.

Dimash experienced 20 yrs of competition. So, nothing worried him. Before signed the contract he asked if no children for this competition, because his Kazakh culture do not compete with the children. The show said he would not. Then he signed the contract. Now how dare Ru Paul said BS to him? TWB and the judges are BS!

He crossed the border of money and jumped over the earthly ego, as no one has ever done before. He literally sacrificed himself to give the children a better opportunity. Valya, all so true, absolutely true. Dimash would never overpower any child, the exact opposite is the truth. He has always been supporting, even financially, young promising talents. I've also paid attention to Dimash's singing a duet; he is always careful about not overwhelming or overpowering his partner singer; he always reduces his own singing to match with the partner's.

This kids sang and when it was Dimashi's turn to sing, this happened, and after he was treated so badly he still gave his 200% performance. His first question when they interviewed him was if he is going to compete against children. They did not know about each other until up to the end. Everything was very secret from the beginning. I have never seen that look on Dimash's face before and I never want to see it again. As an American, I am deeply disappointed in the way the general format of the competition and the severe editing of all the performances. It does a great disservice to the artists. Adagio was really butchered. In my opinion, if it was staged, it just makes the scenario even worse because they are intentionally disrespectful in order to discredit him. It's shameful the way he was treated. I fully respect and support his decision... it makes me love him even more. I'm thankful that he got out of the competition and that he is not tied to a contract with people like that. Many thanks to James Corden for handling the situation with grace and respect.
I'm pretty sure James Corden is a huge fan of Dimash, & probably felt quite embarrassed at the way he was treated. Shame on the U.S. judges, & in my opinion that includes Drew Barrymore, to some degree, because by saying nothing, I felt she appeared to be in agreement with the other two. At least Drew & Faith stood up & clapped for Dimash as he left. Ru Paul just sat, continuing to be a disrespectful jerk.

These were his words: "Honestly, I do not like the entertainment industry. To the audience, the artist should be someone who can be an example. They like our song and they will imitate. So I think I should try to do something that is educational. In my own inner world, my feelings for the fans are love and passion for them. I can only use songs to convey that. They lied to Dimash about having to compete against children. It appears they disrespected him by being dishonest and then expecting him to go against his culture to win money. He has so much integrity and courage. Just when I think I could not love or respect a person more, Dimash proves me wrong. Faith Hill comparing herself to singing against Whitney or Adele and Dimash competing against two children, one of which is not only from his country but that he has personally known and sponsored himself was totally absurd.
This show was horrible. I will never watch it. Judges sucked and they chopped up his performance. They pitted him to compete against two children and Dimash has many years on those two kids. I love what you said he graced his presence! This made me sick! These 3 judges were wrong for this show. The whole show sucked.

According to eyewitnesses at the beginning there was a drama, and then he sang. A lot of phrases were cut out. Dimash emphasized that he had asked before signing the contract whether he would have to compete with the children. And only in the middle of the competition he realized that he had to.
What happened was much terrible than what was edited and showed to us. Dimash was insulted because he chose to stand up to his principle. The moment Ru called him BS, he not only insulted him but also his culture, therefore his country. Now that the show is over, Gia Noortas made a video and claimed that there was a huge chunk of what was said between Dimash, her and the judges were cut out. Very important stuff. Now the two ladies who were present during the taping also made a video and said the same thing but much more elaborated. So, yes react to it or talk about it, both fine with me.

To be fair, Dimash did ask before accepting the invitation to join the competition if he'll compete against kids, and the fact that he competed says that the answer was no, right? Also, the statement was BEFORE the performance, and I really hate how they cut the performance
I reviewed the video, it is clear he stated it after. Even the announcer said "before we get to the judges", which means they were gonna evaluate his singing. It couldn´t happen before that.

The organizers of the competition showed a lack of respect to all participants, cheated, hid, TV viewers were shown ruthlessly cut pieces, mounted in a benefit show, not taking into account talents, culture and traditions of all participants and in particular, the Dimash. Be sure to watch the video comments of 2 female witnesses-viewers of the show that you were recommended, and you will understand all the unsightly cuisine of this strange show.... He is a classy man and will never talk to anybody the way Rupaul talk to him .. He is Confident of himself and doesn't need a show to be famous .. Hey! Always like your detailed reaction Thank you! This comment explains the situation in details! The performers were not allowed to know who their competitors were until the day of the episode. There is an interview of Daneliya where she said she had no idea Dimash was on the show until the Championship round and even then, she only accidentally ran into Dimash back stage. Dimash withdrew from the competition because he is considered an “aga”. Even the interpreter called him Dimash aga. This is a form of addressing a senior in rank in the Kazakh culture and the senior person has a responsibility of taking care of the younger ones. Even the Kazakhstan judge said that “its our culture to open the doors to the younger generation” so she understood why Dimash left the show. He has always adored children and if he had a chance to compete against the TNT boys he would do the same. He once said “children are like angels and they deserve to be happy.” A few years ago during an interview, he also said that we are all here as humans, not as teachers or singers. We need to learn how to be a human. In the Kazakh culture, adults simply do not compete with children. Dimash has his cultural values and morals and this comes first over winning competitions. Congrats to all the performers!

D's performance was cutted very harshly, plus D's speech was cutted as well, plus they changed sequence of event - there were kids' performances at first, then was D's announcement, and then Di sang. Actually, after judge said "You know what you are into" or something, Di responded, that first question he asked before signing a contract was "will there be kids in the show?" - well, it was conveniently cutted. yes, I agree with you, your intuition tells you right, that guy totally crossed the line, and I don't really care if it was scripted or if it was his real reaction, he had no right to talk to Dimash like that, Di was a guest in this show and they offended him. The whole show was a complete disaster from the beginning, the way they edited the performances was horrible, it didn't do any justice to any of the artists, especially to the artist like Dimash who always builds the song, creates it from the start. I would love you to watch the true story behind this episode from those two ladies, either watch it live and react or only comment on this, whatever you choose, but it's important to know what people have already suspected from the moment the show was released, and now got their confirmation and much more information on how the show really worked including Di's full response to their "accusations" which they of course cut out. What Dimash did was honorable, amazing and true to himself, and they just tried to manipulate people to show him in a bad light and make their pitiful little contest look good. Now that the show has finished airing, they can talk. They had to sign a form of non-disclosure. They especially decided to talk after reading and hearing stuff like Dimash left because he was afraid of losing to the kids (!!!!!!!) (obviously doesn’t know a thing about singing or music), or that this was a planned PR move (which Kanat refuted strongly). When invited to participate, the first thing that Dimash asked was, are there going to be children on the show, because he does not compete against children. Contestants were strictly shielded from seeing it meeting other contestants. Only in the Battle Round did Dimash meet his opponent Sister Cristina. And only moments before the Championship Round did Dimash find out he was going to compete against Daneliya and Lydian. He has been a champion of children’s music education and has met Daneliya previously. How could he possibly now squeeze her out? In this round, the American judges’ lowest score determines who leaves the competition. The other two then vie for the champion title of this category (music solo). Now the show was heavily edited. From cutting out 2/3 of the performance to resetting the order of events to cutting out and adding in comments... Dimash made his statement BEFORE he sang. And what we heard wasn’t even the worst. Dimash repeatedly says in various interviews that in this life it’s not important to be a teacher or a singer but to be a human being. That it’s more important to remain true to your principles rather than bow to fame and fortune. Another of his statements: Teach your children about happiness, not money. There was a lot more going on that was cut out and came out in the last days due to people that were there - I would definitely take the time to watch the video of the two ladies that were there. Many people explained that in Kazakstan adults don't compete against children. And personaly I agree as it's not fair even though we got used to it in Europe and America. What he did was an act of dignity. And to answer your language question - Russian and Kazakh are completely different (I understad Russian but not a word in Kazakh) even though both are using cirillic letters they are from different language groups Russian - Slavic, Kazakh - Turkic and very simmilar to Turkish. Dimash as his countrymen speaks fluent Russian as Kazakhstan was a part of the former Soviet Union.
sp72929, the Kazakh language is no longer using the Cyrillic alphabet. The Kazakhstan government passed a law which ordered that as from 1 of January 2018 the Kazakh language will use the Latin alphabet.

Salutations from Canada: This time you used the word EPIC to describe Dimash’s voice & performance. It’s the 1st time Ive heard that word used to describe him (admittedly I havnt watched as many vids as you), but I think you’ve nailed it. He is an “epic” singer! I could never quite find a word I was happy with when trying to describe Dimash to friends & family, but “epic” is excellent. It captures his vocal range (6 octaves if I remember correctly), mastery of ... oh I dont know ... all things to do with moving through that range a human can accomplish? Then there’s style, performance ability, & even just his striking physical appearance. Having watched him quit the competition yesterday, I would now add “nobility of spirit.” It doesnt surprise me that many cant understand Dimash’s move here, but it seems simply what it is. He KNOWS what/who he is: unique & peternaturally talented. How could he feel comfortable competing with kids??? Like you, I dont watch those shows except on YT clips, but that comment by RP made me want to reach thru the screen & throttle him! How utterly American. It appears the panel (& many others) do not understand how truly wierd it is that adults compete with children!!!! It is the primary reason I avoid the “competition” shows. Im with ya! I understand what Dimash did & some of that panel’s reaction highlight the very real problems with these shows! Parts may feel staged, but I believe Dimash’s are not. EPIC indeed

Димаш не вызвал у меня жалости абсолютно). Он твердо и уважительно огласил свое решение. И скорее всего был готов к подобной реакции.. Кроме be us ) РуПолла. Его взгляд был самым эффекгным во всем шоу!!!) И слов не надо)). Да, ДИМАШ, миролюбивый, но он мужчина, не забывайте, он тоже человек, и все человеческое ему не чуждо! Когда тебя так оскорбляют, совсем не лишним будем ответить! Давайте не обожествлять Димаша! Он тоже имеет право быть таким, каким не хочет его кто то видеть! Но он не становиться от этого плохим Артистом или Человеком! У него очень много Достоинств, за что мы его все любим! Но давайте принимать его всяким, без оценки, без условностей! Это и будет истинным проявлением нашего уважения и любви этому великому артисту!

A appologyies for the rude comment when you aired tht boy and Dimash. Where a silly boxing began . Hi dear if interested today is DIMASH 2d concerts. Yesterday's wose a stound enovation. He sang 4 new songs written by his composers that gave me goospams. People didn't want to live. And Dimash love for his audience was immense he made kids , young and spesificly olderly hapyy. At the end he went off the stage and interacted with them. You could see the elderly revive . He is pure love. Im trying to get to his Arnau concert. If not will wait till he comes to Canada. There wore people from about 125 Countries 600 from China. It was adorable to hear them screem DIMASHY. He will colaborate with Laura Fabian, Andrea Bocheli. We are so happy for him. U can tell how happy he is getting back to his comfort zone after the worlds best that wose killing his soul. The second concert will start soon.

Конечно поддерживает. Был один реакционер из новых ,он так злился,что мальчики из Эфиопии ушли из -за Димаша. Что они могли выиграть этот конкурс . Димашне с луны свалился. Его уже пол мира через ютуб узнали. Они его и пригласили ,чтоб сделать открытие :Человек 6 актав. Но все пошло не по сценарию. Казахский минталитет не подрасчитали . Димаша не понял бы народ наш. Нельзя было его оставлять соревноваться с детьми. Вот и прокол американского минталитета

Great reaction as per normal - despite the song being edited to bits. Still a great performance. Dimash decision to quit the show was noble and understandable. He put his integrity before money and has earned millions of fans as a result. For those who have followed Dimash over the last 2 years and more will understand what Dimash represents. What has happened on TWB only reinforces Dimashs character. He has my utmost respect and admiration. Thank you from New Zealand.

Dimash did not disrespect anyone. When you see the video of those two women you will understand what happened. Before Dimash entered the contest he asked if there would be children and he was told no. Than he found out there were and he had to compete against them. In his culture adults do not compete against children but, they encourage them to succeed. The worlds best owes Dimash and his Country a HUGE apology!!! Unfortunately we only see the edited version of this performance. The judges got to see the whole 6 minutes of the song before the editing room stuffed it up for the viewers. Regards Erich

The Hype about this show was all based on Dimash, that's why the judges are pissed off. Dimash is an honourable man and not to be controlled by the American machine. He is 6' 2" inches tall I believe. Regards Erich
You're a good observer, yes conversations don't happen like that. Twb cut everything conveniently for their own favour. You should watch the video you mentioned. A lot were cut out.
This shows what a beautiful soul he has. I am not expecting all the people to understand his gesture. It's a matter of culture and education. First of all, this should be seen as a show providing memorable moments and not as a competition though it is defined this way. Competitions have led more to destruction (of environment, , of characters, of education of whatever we want) than to improving quality during the human history. How about harmony and cooperation? This is the message Dimash wanted to send. So, let's enjoy the show and don't let heavy words coming out, like that judge did. for no reason, after all. Life is not just rules, rules are more than questionable, especially because they are done by people. I have only one regret, that Dimash didn't performed "The Diva Dance" to blow everybody away (in the good sense). Respects for the show man, he has good sense and understood what was really going on.

Dimash showed judges how to be respectful and composed in a disagreeable situation. What a man of integrity, humility, honorable, etc, etc, etc...... Us could learn from him and his country's culture.

No necesitó ganar ese concurso, por lo contrario su decisión lo hizo más grande ... y recién esta empezando. Removing himself from a competition that goes against his morals/values/scrupples/culture demonstrates what he really values-- in action. He isn't goin' to sell out. Could be "rehearsed" with American Judges. I think they (producers) had an idea it was coming. Not positive. Supposedly there were rumors... But either way Dimash comported himself as an "International" gentleman and mega-STAR. I adore him even mo'. If that's possible???
This was a genuine reaction by the judges, it´s not staged. Americans react like that, I know, I have seen a lot of these shows. The flow you see in their utterances is there because of post production. They had views from many cameras as people were saying things all at once, but they put it one after another so TV viewers can see all reactions.
Nope . I don't believe this has ever happened in any competition..They should have been honored to have Dimash on their show .. I wish they didn't butcher up the perfrmamce on the cutting room floor so badly .. I wanted to see the. Build up starting from the piano playing . Yes. I've had that experience with a song growing on me as well .. the key change may have been more weird cZ of the editing?? I felt that way too when I heard it ..pls do a reaction with the video of the 2 audiences. The only one being disrespectful are the judges , especially Ru Paul.. 😟😵
V I'm not sure, but I got the impression that thise two you are talking about was not in the ordinance, but was two of the judges. They also said that everything was cut and editing, and that Dimash talked to the judges before his performance. It's amazing how he managed to perform the song perfectly after being criticized and jailed at in that way. Indeed, Dimash is one of a kind. Beside his voice, that's why we love him so much. 💖💞💖💞💖💞 And yes Rasheed (hope I spelled it right) I believe Dimash understand English.

Please watch the two ladies who saw it live and said things were not as they showed it on TV. Very enlightening. Explains a lot. Judges embarrassed themselves and most Americans.
