Coach Stell! on All-Out-Sundays! with ‘The Clash’ alumni! - My favourite person killing it solo!! 

Stell was highly praised by his co-coaches on The Voice Generations, esp. the two seniors. They said that they were super surprised by his talent and his humor. Billy even said that Stell's voice could compete internationally. Chito said that what impresses him the most is Stell's humility and the way he interacts with the talents like he's not a big star. He went on to declare that Stell could even easily host the show and that he thinks Stell carries the whole show by himself. Everyone on their set was in unison in their belief that Stell is very smart with the way he could easily deliver a punchline or rebuttal. My heart is gonna burst with pride. But you are right, Stell doesn't seem to realize that despite hearing those words. I wanted him to believe in himself. Despite the heavenly voice that comes out of his mouth, his eyes still seems to not know what he got. Such a grounded man!

THE MOMENT STELL REALIZED THEA ASTLEY SHOOTS WITH POWERFUL HIGH NOTES, HE STRIKES BACK WITH ONE OCTAVE HIGHER IN ORDER NOT TO BE OVERPOWERED BY THEA'S VOCAL INTENSITY. THEIR VOICES BLENDED SO WELL. IT'S A MEMORABLE DUET. CONGRATULATIONS TO THEA AND STELL.

Stell's cystal clear voice is much clearer than the waters of Palawan. And Palawan has the cleanest and clearest water in the world! And not to disrespect the other 2 guys, I think they were star struck that one of them sang a different lyric. For a while, Stell got slightly confused there. It was just split second but you can see it in his eyes and brows. And he sang that long phrase " ang aking mundo" in just one breath. What a powerful set of lungs and diaphragm!

He stood out from among the other 2 male singers not for the color of his hair but for his passion, charm and stage presence. All the other singers sang wonderfully with Stell but something is missing...the other four members of SB19!!!

Stell is the brightest star of this generation of performers.

I totally agree with you. There’s a maturity in Stell’s voice. The emotion and meaning of the song exudes in his voice as well as the wide range of his vocal prowess. Stell never ceases to amaze me with his talent.

I am so amazed with Stell's vocal control, that part on Mapa when he pulled back and sang it softly.. he just did another version of it. Also, the 3 artists with him were all powerful belters, but Stell's distinctive tone came out so clearly and pleasantly, so chill in his performance. 😊

Singing is not all about belting and hitting the high notes, there must be emotion involved. The ability to convey the meaning of the song with feelings is a talent in itself. This is what sets Stell apart and just by his facial expression, it's evident that he's mastered the craft! Way to go, Stell!❤🍓

Stell is always amazing 😊 and you are so right. Some can do cover songs better than the original but no one can sing SB19 songs and get the same feels. Stell, Pablo, Ken, Josh and Justin have that magic.

The Voice Generations Philippines will premiere on the 27th and I can't wait to watch it. The other coaches said most of the contestants pick Stell so we will see how did they react to that. Chito, Billy and Julie Ann are all veterans but they were all singing praises on Stell. He is the Bunso in this competition but it seems they all look up to him. Stell carries himself so well and can stand up to a challenge, yet he remains humble and doesn't show off. They say, if you have it, flaunt it. Stell doesn't know how to to that. He just do what he does best.

Our SB19 boys always, always perform their songs with real heart. It never feels like it's pretend. If it's a happy song, they're expressing their own real happiness. If it's sad, it comes from real sadness. Even if it's just a little glimpse of emotion it always strikes me as real. They're all on the same emotional page. I think they deliberately rehearse songs that way? They sing from the heart and don't sing to show off (unless the song is about showing off 😆 , in which case, out comes the swag). The singers performing with Stell were powerhouses in their own right. Unfortunately, I don't think they were on the same emotional page as Stell. If they each sang on their own, it wouldn't have been jarring to me. They could have each established the emotional tone they wanted from the start. But Stell knows these ballads really well. He sang them with experience and delicacy and his own Stell-brilliance (sorry, a bit of fan girling there 😊). So when the other performers came in, with their different purposes for singing, and without the same emotional bonds to the song that Stell has, it was all slightly off. Not bad, because they really are good vocalists. But not on the same emotional map that Stell established at the beginning of each song. Just my opinion. I'm being nitpicky myself because I miss the boys too. 😌

Thank you for this reaction. Stell being there and singing their songs is the most unselfish thing. Despite that being his solo project, he is always bringing his group and his brothers with him everywhere he goes. And it's heartwarming, but I hope that later on, he will perform some other songs (or better yet his own song) so that he can be seen as just STELL, for him to shine on his own and for his talent to be appreciated more. Just a side note: I believe they were on their local tour when he filmed this performance. He came from their Davao concert, went to Manila for this, then went back to Mindanao for their Bacolod concert. But you can never see that with him. He just loves performing and appreciates everything that he's been given.

Stell and SB19 as a whole are generous enough to let whoever is singing with them shine. Case in point, their collabs with Ben and Ben and with Regine. And now with this 3 singers. But then again, who can outsing or outshine THE Stell Ajero?

I am so into this man especially when he is serious all berries are waiting for him to have a solo and I hope he is not pressured because all 4 members have solos it's just him who has none.

Thea Astley is my bias wrecker in Divas of the Queendom and Stell is my bias wrecker in SB19 they both sing so well the duet is amazing . 💙❤I'm so happy to see Stell Collab with other artists,thank you very much for always supporting SB19 especially Stell,Let's support him in TVG this coming 27 eyy hahaha nagpromote💙😅

This was taped after the Pagtatag Araneta concert and Davao leg. He had his hair color changed to chocolate brown and then changed it back to orange copper before departing to US. And yes, he looked tired already since he had to tape episodes of TVG back to back, plus other commitments.

I'm merely noticing this as well because we all know that Stell is like a sunshine that inspires many others to be happy. But why do I can see the pain or sadness through his eyes? I wish he understood how extraordinary he is. He has my utmost respect. He never gives up and never stops working to get better. I'm very proud of him. He keeps on improving on what he does the same as I do, I just hope that he would appreciate himself more. I’m just worried that he still doubting himself. #Stell what you are doing is more than enough! We love you!

I totally agree with you about the boys being meant to be together. It's really a weird feeling not hearing the voices of the other members in an SB19 song. I remember being a bit emosh the first time he performed MAPA solo. He sang it beautifully no doubt but it made me miss the other members too.💔 Excited for Stell's solo project! I totally agree with you on your critique about the Ilaw duet. And thank you for putting it nicely. 😊 That is the tendency of our singers, not just here on AOS but also with ASAP on the other channel. They subconciously tend to one-up their co-singers on stage, losing the dynamics. Which is where Stell, Pablo and the rest of SB19 excel. They know when to pull back or belt and does it very well. Thus the message of the song is not lost. We are focused on the delivery and not who has the loudest voice. Every time my family see these singers (both newbies and some pros) do a group number on both shows, we say “ok, here we go again…everyone’s screaming at their microphones…everyone wanting to be heard”. Just my 2 cents. 🙂

I love this. The other singers are all power solo singers. Stell is also my bias. I love it when his hair is off his forehead, who wants any part of that face covered. I love his broad shoulders and and strong jaw. He is like a Filipino Superman. I need to see him in a Superman shirt or at least Clark Kent eyeglasses. I do like Thea Astley's singing. You should check out her duet with Bugoy Drilon mash up of Flowers (Mylie Cyrus) and When I Was Your Man (Bruno Mars).

The hair looks less gingery: This was shot sometime before the Bacolod con when he briefly had darker red hair (it lasted for like two days before he went back to orange , who knows why lol). Your reaction to Thea’s entrance-she’s a gem. The Clash is a singing contest, yes.

By the way, thank you so much for reacting particular perf of STELL’s. This was shoot in between two of there 2 big concerts, TVG filming, with back to back tv guestings and series interviews both local and international that they have to adjust the time difference that sometimes there interviews were past 1am Philippine time already.

same reaction.. can't deny that stell really slayed that climax part of pablo in Ilaw. not comparing because they both sang it very well.. but I feel that no other singers can bring that emotion, that life Pablo gave on that climax part of...he really owns that part of Ilaw..

When the lady, Thea Astley did her part, I see and hear her skills but not the emotion of the song Pablo really emotes the songs very well, probably because he wrote them

I feel like this is same-day rehearsals and performance, that's why the harmonization was not doing well, but we can see how Thea is trying her best to do something different on her part. I think they also told Stell to just stick to the original melodies of the songs which also contributed to the total outcome of the harmonization.

I think what gave us the feeling that the duet with the girl was not gelling well is that because she was competing with Stell so much. She did not try to work with him but tried to overpower him. She could have gone softer and it would have sounded smoother. But maybe it's her mic's volume also. 😊 Anyhow, I'm not a music expert so I'll shut up now. 😅

For the 1st song, those guys are winners of big contets. Anyway, the 2 sounded like calling for attention. Unlike SB19, they seem to compliment each other’s parts than call attention to their parts. Same feeling with girl. But they were all great singers.

Yes..i agree..listening to this makes you think how powerful thr mahalima is, w each of their unique voice contrbution in their songs makes it sound just right..just like goldilocks trying the bed of the bears : too soft..too hard..just right.... Here in the philippines, belters are regarded as best, but that case was changed by our mahalima, it is not always the case -- it is now being a total package 😊

There's a lot of good singers out there. But a great singer is also a storyteller. The others are good singers,but they sing to impress, that's why their volume is too loud. The lady is a good singer, but she seems too focus on belting and trying to show her power vocals. Liham and Ilaw is for storytellers, not just for singers. Just my opinion.

I think those three is trying give their own style to the song that they forgot the essence of the song itself which disappointing. They are giving too much vocal gymnastics that the song doesn’t need.
