Actually Lia is Korean-born, but she spent her formative years in Canada with her grandma. That's why she is fluent in English. Don't know if her family is still with her in Korea though...

@@RudeMekanicals Lia's family lives in Songdo Incheon. Not far from me.

Lia is from Korea, born and raised, she spent 3 years in Canada as an Elementary student. She speaks fluent Engilsh because when she returned to Korea before middle school she went to a private and exclusive International school on Jeju island. She is not from the USA. Lia's family has always been in Korea, and they are always here to support her. They live in Incheon and she visited and spent time with her family probably more than any of the other members with the exception of Chaeryeong, who's family is also quite close. So your comment about her missing family is 100% false. It has nothing to do with her hiatus. She took hiatus because they were planning the next tour, and she has said, it's not the fans or the work that give her trouble, its all the people "at you" all the time, touching, fixing, adjusting, minding her every moment she is on the job, stylists, sound engineers, hair and make up, choreographers, so much so that she can't even use the toliet when she wants to. That is what causes her anxiety. So she opted out of the tour, which meant she wasn't promoting the current comeback as well. I don't know how you can get your info so wrong.

It's a comment on your age that you think ITZY swipe is talking about a dating app. On smart phones you swipe to reject a call, and that is what the song is about. It has ZERO to do with a dating app. The song is made for tiktok where you also swipe. The QR code at the end opens ITZY's tiktok account.

@@incheonguy No, it's a comment that I don't to go to tiktok. Not everyone consumes every social media. There are around 121 million tiktok users in the U.S. and a population of 331 million, which means that 210 million people do not use tiktok and, so, may not know the mechanics. My comment wasn't about which app or the meaning of the song, it was about applying meanings learned long ago to modern interpretations. It got the point across. ;)
