I'll say this. If I had to pick one thing that is good about this terrible drought we've been in the last 7 yrs it's this. You can certainly distinguish Steelers true fans from people who just want to be associated with a winner. I hate what we're going through now. But I will NEVER stop watching, stop supporting, or stop pulling for whoever is wearing that Black and Yellow. Player or coach. Steelers for life!!!

This team could be quite beastly next year. Health, focus, an OC who gets what we need to do in balance and in explosiveness offensively and to shore up the "chunk play" weakness of the defense... I'm not even a Steelers fan and I watch all Mike Tomlin's press conferences...he is a real coach. He's lost Laveon Bell, Antonio Brown, and others and has Kenny Pickett as a quarterback (let's be honest the Steelers drafted him in the FIRST round since he was a local guy to sell tickets) but still finds a way to win! I wish he coached my team (the Saints) so I was disappointed he actually stayed in Pittsburgh as I would have loved for him to take a year off, then coach the Saints after another horrible Dennis Allen season next year. You guys do not know how good you have it...Pittsburgh has not had a good quarterback since two years before Ben Roethlisberger retired.

When I was in the U.S. Marines we were constantly told that ANY AND EVERYBODY is a RAH RAH person when it’s easy and things are going smoothly. But doing it when IT’S HARD(i.e. GOING UP HILL, when you’re tired and it takes more to do it) is when it COUNTS!!!! THAT’S MANHOOD!!!! Tomlin has been a so so coach in my opinion for years. The NFL always does what it does, which is RECYCLE THE SAME COACHES FROM ONE TEAM TO ANOTHER. Tomlin acted like a child after the loss and he thought he was getting fired. Then the next day SURPRISE SURPRISE, he finds out that he’s NOT gonna be fired and next thing you know he shows up to the presser making jokes and smiling from ear to ear. That takes guts and strength!!! What a real man!!!! Pittsburgh deserves everything it’s gonna get next years with this clown!!

Of course getting the best OC on the market is top priority but I think the DC Austin needs to go too. Also one thing no one talks about is the fact that we definitely need some new strength and conditioning coaches as we are consistently one of the most injured teams in the league every year as of late. Injuries to key players killed us this season in addition to getting outcoached.

I am a lifelong Clevelander, and a lifelong Browns fan, and there is no doubt in my mind that Mike Tomlin is amongst the best HCs in the league's history. I would take him in Cleveland in a millisecond, and when I heard talk of dumping him in Pittsburgh, its confounding.

Sign Mason and start him next season. Shop Kenny around for a trade or something. Improve the offense and we should be much better next season. Maybe fill the defense where needed. Maybe find quality back ups. Keep Coach Tomlin and find a better OC.

Time is running out on some of the talent you have. Don't waste it on trying to force Pickett to be something he is not. Move on and get someone who can lead this team. Mason has shown he has matured to that level and should get the chance. I hope you don't let him walk. The fans deserve a better effort to get the right players and coaches in place.

Weather youlike Kenny or not, hes on a cheap rookie contract and will be for at least two more seasons, he isnt going anywhere. What we need is legit competition from a vet, rookie or both. Plus Kenny has done enough to show potential, he protects the ball and has come through in clutch moments. If he can improve pocket presence, and has a good OC. The offence should be much more productive next year

The first part of the press congruence gave hope that Mike Tomlin sees the light about change from without the organization. After awhile it turned into the same old message, we will evaluate the season and change what is indicated . We have heard that after every loss, but everything stayed the same loss after loss. Hopefully he will follow through in his assessments and make what changes need to be made. this time.Over the years he has mismanaged the team . Mike Tomlin has a chance to prove that he is actually a Hall of Fame Head Coach, by not just saying the obvious, but actually making those management changes. Hopefully this time Lucy doesn’t fool Charlie Brown and Charlie actually does kick the football.

IF the Steelers THINK that Kenny is still MORE than a backup and capable of starting in FRONT of Mason Rudolph, they are FULL of S#!T. Let me lay it out. Kenny only improved in one category this year (less INTs). Kenny Pickett 2022: Started 12 - Games; (7-5) 7-TDs; 9-INTS; 2404-Passing yards 2023: Started 12 - Games; (7-5) 6-TDs; 4-INTS; 2070-Passing yards Mason Rudolph 2023: Started 3 - Games; (3-0) 3-TDs; 0-INTS; 719-Passing yards 2024: (Playoff Game) Started 1 - Game; (0-1) 2-TDs; 1-INTS; 229-Passing yards Season Total: Started 4-Games; (3-1) 5-TDs; 1-INT; 948-Passing yards In the perfect weather that both Kenny & Mitch played in all season (hypothetically speaking), Mason Rudolph had the potential to pass for 5000+ yards. As you recalled, the Steelers called off the dogs in both the Cincy & Seattle game, then the monsoon in Baltimore and extreme cold/wind in Buffalo. But more than individual accolades for Mason, the ENTIRE team functioned better and appeared to have more fun with Mason in the game. Kenny will need to be traded or accept a backup role. Kenny has become a great game manager, but he lacks the knowledge of reading coverages and making necessary adjustments. Kenny waits for receivers to become open and try to throw the ball hard to make the completion. Mason understands where his receiver is expected to be and throws the ball on time and on target. This comes with experience and knowing the playbook thoroughly. Our current ILBs are decent if we can remain healthy. Kwon was coming in a zone and Elandon Roberts is a beast. Teach our CBs to embrace tackling because its part of the game. I haven't seen a tough, tackling cornerback on our team since Rod Woodson. We need to get our auxiliary players involved (Calvin Austin III, Miles Boykin, Darnell Washington, etc.) because they need to know they will be needed at any time. Tomlin needs to stay clear of the OC process as well as give the person they hire full rights to make any necessary changes. You PAY Mason well to account for not only what he just did, but what he's shown he's capable of, as well as compensation for how you mistreated him over the past few years. Name Mason the Steelers starter now for the 2024 season. Bring in some more protection on the line (Left Tackle & Center). Get an OC who will harden our offense and make them play with an edge.

Tomlin is the best coach of the entire league and he always conducted his best in ways that suited the reporters

Your players seem to be more invested in team discipline and corralling the problem than Tomlin is. Najee has won championships and the Georgia lineman has also. Tomlin needs to be acting on these problems. Get tough Tomlin. That’s frigging roll next year.

If Tomlin putting all his chips on Pickett again, look for another 10-7 season with help to get in. Pickett is not good and Rudolph is gone come free agency

My worst fear of Tomlin coming back is him sticking with penny kickitt and it certainly seems that’s what his plan is, and that is a terrible decision for the franchise.

When Tomlin said he anticipates the 2024 QB is currently on the roster, that's the moment I realized Tomlin should have been fired, and we're going absolutely nowhere for the forseeable future. Any coach who thinks either Mason Rudolph or Kenny Pickett can compete in a conference with Burrow/Jackson/Allen/Mahomes/Herbert/etc., just isn't being realistic. The Steelers need to bring in a LEGIT starter. That might be Russell Wilson, that might be Kirk Cousins, that might be Justin Fields, etc...but it sure as hell ain't Rudolph or Pickett.

I'm excited to see what the Khan-artist puts together to add talent to the team in his second year.

Mike Tomlin is a fraud he says he thinks competition is good but never hires a coach from outside until he’s forced to because he doesn’t wanna be challenged. The facts are we have over a decade of proof Tomlin is not a capable head coach at this point being 0-5 in his last 5 playoff appearances and yall can say it’s players not playing well but these are the players Tomlin wanted and asked for the organization to bring in ! This team will not compete for a championship as long as Tomlin is in charge and making decisions for this team and that’s been proven over this past decade and the fact he’s the not won playoff games in 4-17 season he’s been a head coach 4 year out of 17 years come on folks it’s time to move on from Tomlin !

I been a fan since forever. I definitely enjoy our coach and his verbal wisdom. But now is the time to stop with the verbiage and get onto production with some consistent results. We have great talent that has not been used in a consistent manor. Our plays are suspect and easy to identify. Players from other team have BRAGGED about our easy to identify plays. Our Steeler team needs to produce with quality coaches that have production in mine. Coach these MEN not to be friendly, but to be responsible for results. Hold coaches at bay for results for their position.
