When you said" I can't be grateful for the lessons and hateful for the teacher", I had to pause the video because a bunch of strong emotions I reserve for a particular person flew from somewhere inside of me. You touched something so deeply true. i did the intellectual part of the forgiveness, but I knew that deep inside of me I never let go of the hatred and the anger I feel for this person. I had a good cry, felt the relief, wiped my tears with my sleeve like a child would do and continued the video. I sincerely want to thank you for your valuable words of wisdom.
Of all the videos Sean has published, If there were an Olympic Gold Medal for insight, this video takes pole position. Thanks for sharing such deep subject matter, Sean.
LANDED LANDING AND i'm sure when I watch it again for the 4rth time IT WILL land again SEAN YOU ARE THE G.O.A.T (Greatest of all times). With SO much Gratitude ..... Ayesha Saafir
Hi Sean, another very powerful video. But I wonder why some people reenact the very same trauma that they experienced in their childhood on others ? for eg. most sexual predators were themselves abused in their childhood and thats why they do the same to others. Does it mean that they dont want to learn their lessons and want some sort of revenge ? because the pain of feeling those past emotions is so intense ?
Could be those reasons. Or so many others. But aside from why, they haven’t learned whatever lessons are meant to be learned in my opinion, consciously or unconsciously.
