I love the commentary and coaching with the dancers. This collab is brilliant. Josephine is absolutely a master about pointe shoes. She knows her stuff she can spot a brand just by how someone moves.
For someone who doesn't and has never danced at all, are those toe hops on pointe just "ow ow ow" after a while since you are coming down on weird joints?
What l noticed about pointe shoes - same company , depending where the shoe was made will fit differently, the same but different - also depending on new muscles constantly changing this changing the foot you will either need or want a different shoe - rule of thumb, when you are strong enough to roll through the foot in a soft shoe or sock onto pointe you are ready for pointe shoes - Vagonova - so a little jingle l made up- My brain is a muscle and so is my heart, My limbs are an expression of my Art !

Omg yes my daughter was so dialed in thank you she dances everything at her studio but loves ballet and takes it the most so loves to see what the straight up ballet world would be like if she made the leap ❤️❤️

I watched the video on The Pointe Shop's channel so I of course had to follow up and watch yours and omg these dancers are all so amazing. I unfortunately missed my opportunity to compete in YAGP back in 2006 but I still to this day am glued to my screen every time YAGP goes live so I can watch and support all the dancers.
