This video is an overview of our week in Hereford and you find out what we encountered. We hope that from this video, you are inspired to go out and travel light when fishing. www.millpondfishing.co.uk
Nice vid boys here's a hint to treble your winter catches add two or three big spoons of hot curry powder to your ground bait mix and one in your maggots you will be in perch and bream heaven. Tight lines!
10:15 German smartass here: we use to call that type of carp straightly translated "streak carp",characteristic line of large scales along the lateral line organ, one of four distinct types together with "scaled", "mirror" and "leather" (not one scale)
So many experts with negative comments! These two lads enjoying what they do! Or would you experts prefer them breaking into a shed stealing someone else’s fishing gear? Get a life for Christ’s sake.
I don't think so mate. That would affect the whole fin not just the top part. The bottom part of the fin looks perfect and so do the dorsal and pectoral fins. It looks more like something has taken a bite out of it or it's been injured in some way. I've caught bream like that before in waters where pike have been present.
Nice video! You should fish "Townsend Touring Park, Leominster, Herefordshire, HR6 9HB" AMAZING lake, great condition fish and absolutely filled to the brim with coarse fish" carp have been caught up to 14lb and your GUARANTEED to catch 4lb plus and if you can stick it.... you're gonna start getting the bigger ones!
Nice video Haydn, well constructed, well done on the pb perch, the tail on that mirror may have been predatory damage, or tail rot, looked raw and very sore.
Nice vid Haydn Ward. Shame someone didn't know how to remove hooks properly the fish was missing part of its mouth. Guessing that is how the mouth was damaged as for the tail who knows how it got damaged like that. Sad to see fish in bad condition. Nice catch.
Hi I'm only young so far I hooked an 11 pound Carp I couldn't get it in coz I can't even get a 9 pound fish in 😂if you want 20 pound fish , and this is England , so big ! Go to south end farm I hope this helped anyone in England wanting big fish bye x☺️
thats good fishing but its not 'coarse fishing at its best'.come to ireland where the coarse fishing lakes are unstocked and wild and your the only person at the lake catching wild hardy coarse fish and best of all.... its compleatly free
How is it the fishery owners fault? The tail damage could have been caused by an angler using braid without a long enough hook length. Braid will cut through a fishes fin like a razor. What's your suggestion? Should they have killed the carp because it wasn't in perfect condition?
It's not hard to tell the difference between a perch and a carp, even a 4lb perch fights in an entirely different way to an equivalent carp. The feeling of line pinging is the line running over the carps dorsal fin as it twists and turns.
How could that possible of been a perch you were playing it for like ten minutes you can land a 4lb perch in maybe 30 seconds, and that perch the other kid caught wasn’t even a pound I guarantee it!
good on you boys but good fishermen can just look at fish and they know roughly the size of fish so dont over exaggerate the sizes people would rather have that and the bigger ones will come
Whats is Bob? Taking into account that my brother and I were only very young when we made this video, yes we showed some incompetance but we were enjoying our angling and learning along the way.
