Ayo as soon as it started I knew this would be some mfs I was gonna check up on. No cap about it. They’re not different they’re just hip hop and mfs ain’t used to that nowadays. They spazzed. Like… they spazzed.
No wonder they got flow Rass Kass is a west coast Lyrical giant. I been rocking with him every “ghetto Fabolous” 1998 The album is called rasassination worth a listen to and I’m a East coast dweller but rass,x-zibit and the Alkaholiks all had an east coast flow in the late 90s’
Leaders of the New School mixed with Wu-Tang. It’s been a minute since music caught my attention like this, was forced to listen a few time and catch something new every time 💯 #Bars
I've listened to this track probably 30 times and still catching little nuances. These men are going to be something important. Seem grounded and hungry, too, from the Apt.505 documentary.
Welcome to my generations music, grew up on Wu and the artists of that era always paint you a picture of their experience. Been missing that in the current game!
Fuck yes! Wu tang head now 42, walked away from hip hop for years but fuck, that last dude has just brought me back...back to the days when it wasn't all about fear.
It's crazy that this style.of hip hop is so new or not familiar to ya. Us old heads grew up on this....and why we all he sounding like our pops talm bout today music ain't shyt

Rios... Raised in Miami since 3 but born in Colombia! Twins. From LA.. spend teen years in Miami where the met Rio in highschool. They formed Coast CONTRA in Miami. Three of them Moved to LA.. 4 years later met Eric and he join the group. Eric is from Philly.
You see why people are jumping on these cats. Million plus views for a reason. Cause they are refreshing and giving those REAL hip hop vibes and people are NEEDING THIS!
Found Coast Contra a couple weeks ago and I've had this shit on repeat. Reminds me of early 90's when we had Mos Def, Nas, Big L, and Wu rippin' shit up. Hip hop has been in a mostly sorry state with a few exceptions. These guys are like a breath of fresh air.
I love how amazed they are about these bars...this was 90's HipHop...this is why we complain about mumble rap. Thought provoking lyrics over dope ass beats was our norm. #Boombap
Hopped in that bitch like I was Kunta, just so everyone knows Kunta was from roots, they cut off his foot and my man said Hopped in that bitch like I was Kunta, just so ya'll understand. One of the dopest lines ever...
Eric Jamal doesn't sound like odb it just the hair. Flow wise he not close. But lyrically he way better. The twins are just raw by nature..look at their dad. Los bring something crazy that just make the pot melt..by the second album the world will see
What? He sounds literally just like ODB . Flow and all . Everybody is saying it even Wu Tang super fans . Nah man you need to listen to ODB some more and then listen to EJ again because you tripping
Tatted Wu flower since 95 fam. Fact Now name one time odb had a consistent flow pattern on any verse..??? If anything Eric Jamal gives more a Busta feel on this verse. I get more L.O.N.S vibes from this freestyle than Wu by far. The Wu gave you coded bars, that God body slang. Plenty of mathematics. Coast Contra giving raw flexing of bars.
