The Kiwi Rail livery really does look good on the locomotives, poor old DCP4755 doesnt look so good though. I will be travelling on the trans coastal in a few weeks, looking foward to it, great scenery

traveled this train old wagons few years to blues brews barbeques in blenheim... prety shure was a dc at the head both ways... well worth it canot wait till line reopens to passengers!!! only 1 more year aye lol....

i am interested in the train journey from picton to christchurch during winter but unfortunately its closed.will the bus journey be as nice as the coastal pacific?

And at the very end of the video (the one you have and is cut out) is me leaving. 4755 is also missing her rear no. boards.
