Pretty good video Spencer! ;-D 👌, I really like those type of trains like those since 2011 , and it's sad that the F40PH & the F59phi has to go :-( And I'm totally gonna miss the F59phi with Amtrak.
Interesting thing to point out is that the coach cars are entirely repaint into the new scheme, while the Cabcars are only wrapped. For those who don’t know, Coaster ordered the same Cabcars that Sounder & Go Transit use. So the old Cabcars are most likely only wrapped for how long they have left as the main cabcars.
I miss the f40ph 2-c already i ride them when i was little i took the last ride on January but now they are gone at least they will not be scrapped they are going to the museum thank you for your service with nctd
In the past, the Coaster line-ups were nice but the time has come for newer ones and they are even nicer, but I will never forget those old line-ups and old painting - I have a huge fondness for them.
though it’s a shame to see the F40s go, i’m really excited for this new look and time for coaster. the chargers seem to really be kicking ass for em, as they have been for other agencies, and the new look on the BBLs is pretty crisp. great video nonetheless, spencer
I can’t believe all these engines along with the Siemens engine I can’t remember which one it is I being retired I’ll because they have new ones this could be used still as back ups or they could still use them while they work cousin High Point we still use Siemens engines and one engine similar to the K5 And we only have so many they wise they might as will just donate them to us
I like the new Coaster livery, but cab car 2301 looks unfinished. Some of the more obvious details on cab car 2301 is that the roof is still blue, and the sides of the doors are still teal when they should match the new livery.
it’s still like that to this day. i believe they only gave it a wrap rather than a full rebuild cause it was the first cab car to be used on the new train and they didn’t have enough time to rebuild it or something
ItsGoofygoff if you mean the two white pods, they are strobe lights that flash (like ditch lights but on top). They are used as a warning system, most other railroads stopped using them as ditch lights started being used. Hopes this helps.
@@delvinrodriguez3341 interesting the probes i'm asking about are situated at the back of the loco, and look to be shaped similar to pitot tubes on a stick
Very nice Siemens Charger SC44 Catch and Full New Paint Set. The new CEM Bi Level Cab Car Should Be Seen By Now. But the question is, Where’s the new Bombardier CEM Bi Level Cab Car?
@@easternroutemainlinevideos6823 2301 has a nice k5 which I believe is a double tag they can honk it louder, those cab cars have a 2 stage solenoid push button for the horn half being the quit and then full being “emergency” horn, the reason I’m saying it’s possible a double tag is because iec Holden is a Canadian company I believe and those cab cars are built in Canada.
I can put this in One way, NCTC kept the F40s running through janurary and the begining of feburary, then replaced the whole route with SC-44 Chargers at the end of Feburary through March
