The rubbish coax doesn't look like RG58. You probably bought it off eBay or Amazon or something. Chuck it in the bin. If you want premium coax look up Messi & Paoloni. Expensive, but very good. Also use quality connectors and fit them correctly. If the wind managed to pull the coax out the plug then I can guarantee they were poorly connected.

I purchased some f-zero coax around 8 month ago i replaced all my hf antennas and vhf/uhf antennas with it for the cost of it and the quality its a winner its great do a search many retailers now stocking it only downfall its pretty rigid cable

Are you referring to the Solarcon Antron 99? A 27MHz antenna to an Alinco DR-135 144+ MHz VHF radio?

Try and get RG-213 or Westflex 103, both are great coax cables and very low loss. 👍

That cheap coax you are showing will of course have quite high loss and I would not like to use it for anything really. There is another problem with that coax as well that you might not have noticed, you say the `inner` is very thin with only a few real skinny conductors. Problem here is that the characteristic impedance of coax is related to the ratio of thickness of the inner conductor to the inside of the braid sleeve. With 50 ohm coax the inner conductor should be about 3.5 times less in diameter than the outer braid (PE insulation). If it is different than this, it is not 50 ohm coax. That skinny one you have there, judging by the relative diameters of the conductors looks more like 75 ohm coax! I have had exactly this problem when working with `unknown` makes of cable many times. Another one to watch out for is the CCA copper clad aluminium coax. This is generally acceptable on the higher frequencies, due to `skin effect` but on the low frequencies, (my main interest), this stuff will get hot if you put any appreciable power through it. There is yet another cable that is steel braid, steel inner coated with a hint of copper! This stuff is not even good for the wife`s clothes-line! My favourite cables, Lmr400 for vhf / uhf and rg213 for the lower frequencies. For the best performance at 10m I would use the lmr400.

Looks like the "better" coax out of the 2 is in fact rg mini8 and not rg58.

Coax is important. I use LMR 240 for a 50 foot run to a 2M 440 antenna on the roof. Any longer and it would be LMR 400. I use RG8X in the mobile and for my meter jumpers. I don't and won't own any RG58. It pays to go the extra mile and use quality proven coax.

The poor quality coax looks like AV 75 ohm cable.
