Today we are hiking Cobble Hill in Lake Placid, NY.
This trail is part of the Lake Placid 9'er which you can read more about here: lakeplacid9er....
This is a shorter hike with two options as to which way you're able to get to the top. The shorter trail is very steep but super fun! I'd recommend it as long as you're not afraid of heights! The long trail is more mild and a nice downhill walk through the woods! We took the short trail up and the long trail down. I definitely would recommend doing them in that order! This is a really great hike for the whole family and perfect to do if you're short on time or don't feel like trekking up one of the high peaks!

I just went here during winter and it snowed I tried to make it up the rock face but I slipped and my dad got injured but I was fine. It sucksd

Sorry to hear that! I hope your dad is okay now. It’s much more of a doable hike without snow or wet rocks. I hope you get to try again!

Ontario Hiking Trails no crocodiles in NY or anywhere in the northeast that I’m aware of. If there are any then I don’t know about them 😂 And thank you!!
