Amberjack season opened for the month of May, so 7 of us boarded the Breath Taking and ventured out in search of 34+" AJs! We also found some very nice Almaco Jacks and one HUGE surprise of a 72.5 lb Cobia!
Because of my body position in the water, as I hugged the fish, they thought a shark was right below me harassing me. So, they came a bit more aggressively. I was able to raise my gun enough to black the dive platform against my shoulder and deflect me over to the port side. It looked worse on video than it really was. But, thanks for the comment.
