Mijn zusje en ik zijn How I Met Your Mother fans en we hebben nu op alle pakken hagelslag het woord "hagelslag" verbeterd naar "hattensla" als een eer aan Cobie.
I went to jershey shore on the 4th of July. Someone had made sand-castles and that song was the first thing that came to my mind. I laughed so hard, my friends thought I'd lost my mind.
She’s got about the most dutch name you can think of 😄. Cobie makes me think if one was walking into a canteen that one frequents (school, work etc) and asking the proprietor for a cup of coffee complimenting said proprietor on the brew: “ Hij is weer lekker, Cobie”. Very homely, very gezellig 😄
Well Canada and the states touch, so not far... lol But she made a statement its and hour drive from Vancouver to Seattle. Im 20 mins north of Seattle and it still takes me 2 and a half hours to get to Vancouver.
They make 'em pretty good in Canada. Maybe its the snow?? Either way, watch How I Met Your Mother, its a fantastic comedy, in my opinion the best one out there.
+WickedIceQueen Met alle respect, maar ik ben van België is ook niet perfect Nederlands... Ik weet dat het een onderdeel van het Vlaams accent is, maar goed Nederlands is het niet...
It can get kind of crumbly...especially if it's being transported all the way from Holland to Vacouver! My Oma used to bring suitcases full of Dutch food when she visited us in Bermuda (she'd put the sprinkles in plastic bags so she could fit more and sometimes they'd get crushed...the flakes never made it unless left in the boxes
Just to point out, Cobie did do other things Before HIMYM - she did an episode of the show Tru Calling and had a very small part in the movie Walking Tall (see if you can spot her). These are just to name a few :)
she doesn't hate sining, when joss weadon told the cast about it she was excited, but when it came to the project she had a cold and couldn't sing much. Also she got very nervous which also affected her singing.
I'm dutch but I have no idea what she means with ''Hachensla'' or something.... now ''Snert'' is actually a pretty nice pea soup. Oh wait, she means ''hagelslag!'' lol. It's just chocolate sprinkle form.
I'd like to know what he whispered to her in the end ... :D I love her, she is so adorable! I was afraid that she wouldn't be as nice in real life but she is amazing both as Robin and as herself ^.^
in the Drew cary show Seth Green looked like Oz from buffy, which was atleast 3 years before he showed up. But when he was in That 70's show he looked like a total nerd
Google search, "Canadian accents by Tremain McNeil". That article pretty much covers everything. But keep in mind that Canada is VERY Americanised. So her accent is actually suppose to be much stronger than it is now.
Pff, always the coffee shops when Holland is mentioned xD Ah! Pea soup! That's snert for ya! lol.. And I think she meant 'hagelslag' towards the end :P... Awesome
Don´t forget "fruit hagelslag". You are right, that It's usually chocolate. But to be fair, it may still be more healthy than some of the crap that's sold in US supermarkets.
@1234w00t5678 yes, she did say (tried to) "hagelslag", and you do put in on toast (or regular bread) and you can eat it for breakfast and it does taste really good, but alas it's not healthy at all, it's basically chocolate in tiny little bits.
