Nice presentation and series of cases. Just wondering the need to do a CT scan of neck as a protocol in these cases? Any specific anomalies you were looking for? Also kindly share the outcome measures you used to conclude that the procedure is effective.
Thank you. Firstly CT scan of neck needed to rule out the co existing neck pathology like lingual cyst or any other congenital anomalies which can change the course of treatment. Secondly we did this pilot study whose out comes where measured mainly minimal operative complications and immediate post operative reduction of symptoms of respiratory distress.
