Just learned the bottom doesn’t turn independently like it appears to in videos. You turn the whole unit.

FYI The bottom doesn't turn independently. One just holds the snake lightly at the small end and rotates it from the back. Sort of like how you would turn a screwdriver.

About to buy one. I have a 1/4" which was great for the kitchen sink. But for the bathroom sink it only barely doesn't fit through the strainer. 1/8 should do the trick

hey guys! its not supposed to turn. i was a little confused at first but you twist it down the drain yourself. the grip part is not movable

@@aibogoku7730 No, you're definitely supposed to be able to, just to use the auger function once you've hit the clog. Mine won't rotate either!
