Usha was my senior at kV gurgaon,sector 14 her boy friend Rajesh was my friend. She took arts in 11th class. She was not good in studies but she was a good athelete that time. I can see alot of improvement now in comparison to that Usha i knew. Great to see her in uniform.
Athletes jaanbaaz hote hai. Army needs more such people and not padhaku types, though there are many scholars also in the forces. She has matured that is all. the sp[ark was always there.

Army personnel when patrols at night near Border area... They carry blanket, Compass & Map of that area... When they have to see the compass & map... They put there Blanket upon themselves like mini tent... And uses torches to see it... My father told this... When he was posted in Arunachal pradesh near chinese border...!!
A wonderful aspiration for everyone to join the military. At the next Olympics we need to create a quota of say 50% for bright young girls to join the men's hockey team. If women are allowed to join the combat wings of the armed forces, (which involves life and death), why not induct women into the Indian Hockey team, which after all is only a sport. That would be a real reflection of our nation's commitment to equality. Just a thought.
Just waiting for the day when even tri - services will also allow female Officers in combat role Although IAF has already initiated the progress but waiting for Indian Army as well
