Thanks for the great review. Just trying to decide which Cobra model to go for myself, would be good to see your review of the RM4140V to see how the roller model performs. 👍🏻
@@EasyLawnMowingI ended up finding a good deal on a cobra mx460s40v, really pleased with it from the first cut! Glad I went for a slightly higher spec model, the driven wheels really take the effort out of the slopes! Excellent cut and it collected every bit of grass in the collection box. 😊
I went to my local lawn mower dealer and they had loads of models on show. i went for an ego as the folding handle is a game changer. Think EGO have the edge with cordless mowers. the hondas are nice but didnt tick as many boxes as the EGO.
HI David, thank you for your positive feedback. Personally I would go for the Cobra as I feel the build quality and the metal deck is better compared to that on the Bosch. Performance, batteries and runtime are also good on the Cobra. For detailed review and my comments see the link below - easylawnmowing.co.uk/cobra-mx4140v-review/
Hi, I have not tested the Toro, so would not be able to give you a honest opinion. I will try to get hold of a Toro mower and see what I think of performance and build quality. Thanks Mark
Hi, this seems to happen every year with the Cobra mowers, shortage of stock. Keep looking as they will come back in stock at some point on Amazon. You could also keep checking Mowers Online as they will normally get stock before the get to Amazon. tidd.ly/43PqNVa
Hi, yes the Cobra MX4340V use the same 40v battery and compares very well. The main difference for me is the metal deck on the MX41 seems to give the feel of superior build quality. If you need that slightly larger deck then the MX43 would make a good purchase.
Hi Mark, I have just bought this mower on your recommendation. It does everything you say. However the first mower I took out of the box was accompanied by bits of plastic and ball bearings falling into the box. Two of the wheels on the left hand were moving in and out about a centimeter. The company I bought it from sent me a replacement quickly. Took that out of the box, same thing happened on the front wheel. The ball bearings on the wheel are held in by a 2mm thick plastic collar. This seems to be a design flaw. Did you have any problems with the wheels?
Thanks for this. No I did not and I just inspected my mower and all appears good. Have you been back to them again? Perhaps they can raise this with Cobra and see what they say about the issue you are having. Please keep us updated. Thanks.
@@EasyLawnMowing it is a real shame. I didn't want to go for the smaller model because of this reason alone. Looks like I'll have to look for something else.
@@EasyLawnMowing I finally thought I found my lawnmower after watching some of your great videos and of course it's out of stock. Maybe even discontinued. Have you any experience with the MX4340V or should I go with your other recommendation Green works G40LM41K2X? Thanks
Hi, I have asked Cobra to loan me the MX4340V so I can see if it matches up to the MX41. Hopefully I will have the mower in about a week. Will keep you posted. Thanks Mark
