Good interview, especially the discussion about "Midnight Hour" and then about being role models. I have a 10 yr old daughter "lefty" aspiring guitar hero who has some similarities to Sonia. Loves KISS, gymnastics and one big personality.
AWESOME interview Lance; Cobra Spell is quickly becoming among my favorite NEW hard Rock/Heavy Metal bands & to finally see guitarist Sonia & NEW lead vocalist Kristina (a native of Catalonia, Spain FYI) is a great confirmation of such a fact 👍 😊 😌 🇪🇸 🤘 😍 🤩 😻 🐍 😎 👏 🤩 Being a child of the 1980s myself &, therefore, acknowledging that I still love the now classic Rock/Metal music of that particular era, it’s a fantastic breath of Fresh air to have a superb quintet like them to recapture the vibe & modernize it at the exact same time 🎶 🎼 🎵 💕 ❤️ 💗 🧒 Now Lance, I can honestly say that if Sonia & her band mates keep playing the cards right, Cobra Spell will definitely evolve in the long run with their uniquely amazing, energetic music, and among their unfinished business is the arrival of a new, talented drummer to compete the lineup 😻 🤩 🥲 🐍 🃏

Thank you ! Great interview. Just got to know Born in Exile due to programmed at Can Mercader Festival (soon, near Barcelona). So funny, I didn't realize yet that their singer is the new Cobra Spell vocalist 😌. (I find her talent even more striking at Cobra Spell). Hopefully she will not have anything to do for Cobra Spell that day and she will be there at CMF, I was looking forward to it. Maybe next year again at CMF, but with Cobra Spell (Since Sonja's roots are also from BCN, it's almost a local band now ) 🤩
Cobra Spell are better than most of those 80s bands. Some were good. I enjoy bands like Cobra Spell more than most of those old bands, because they are (especially now) girls, instead of dudes trying to look like girls. And the lyrics are written from a female point of view, instead of guys treating girls as disposable objects. Another big difference is that I'm finding these new bands, as opposed to a new band being over-promoted by radio or MTV. Glad Cobra Spell is enjoying success, and I hope the new members work out. Can't be easy having a band or making a living playing music.
