There is one thing that makes cobus special.. he cover a song that doesn't focus on the drum and cobus put his magic into that songs.. thats what make it realy special.. Btw, 90% of his cover are my fav songs. Thanks cobus. U r my hero

Literally, cobus was the reason why i got into drumming.. I was just watching all this videos back then and that's when i knew how to drums. I didn't get any lessons how, i just watched his videos and i learned a thing or two.. Cobus is my hero..

yeah that was strange. all the vocals sound a little off from the one I remember, as if it's a demo or something. maybe just the way the vocals were isolated when mixing in the drums?

No joke, for the past 13 years I've thought he sang "be the freak sh*t in your jeans" so I was like, sure, I'll censor this just to be safe (for the kids, you know). Now I find out he actually sings "friction". I'm laughing out loud. Also now I'm terrified of how many other lyrics I'm entirely oblivious to.

Where do you find tracks without the drums? It’s great only hearing YOUR chops through the mix. Alternate fills can usually be heard through the mix, but you eliminate that. Good shit

99.9% of the tracks I use for my covers are just the normal studio tracks (not drumless) but with this song I was able to find a drumless track online, my guess is that it's because the song was featured in Rock Band. Just Google it, shouldn't be hard to find!

This cover is so well put together. I love your ear for sound and salute your ethic and the work you have put in. You are an incredible drummer, some of the tastiest licks I've heard in a song. The intro at 00:30 fits amazingly and 2:44 also fits sounds amazing.
