I've watched all of the Superbowl ads now, and I have to say that this one was my favourite. They even used Peter and the Wolf (which is one of my favourite orchestral pieces). Awesome ad.
Brilliant work. An imaginative script in vivid animation set to a classic piece of music. This will be viewable for decades, unlike many others with a shelf life of several months.
Congratulations from Swinburne University of Technology to Kylie Matulick and the team at PSYOP on their recent Emmy Award for this ad. After studying Graphic Design at Swinburne (Melbourne, Australia), Kylie moved to New York and co-founded PSYOP. As the Emmy demonstrates, the company is now one of the leading design agencies in the world. From everyone at Swinburne: well done, Kylie, on an extraordinary achievement. Youre welcome back any time for a visit.
The music from the commercial reminded me from the old Disney cartoon Peter and the Wolf. I remembered listening to this music when i was a little kid and it just came back to me! It was a great commercial too!
Not funny, but is indeed one of the most creative superbowl commercials this year. Props to coke for this work of art and advertising triumph. Very well done and great "Peter and the Wolf" song.
Lol-I loved this one. One great video that was bumped from the original line-up at the Super Bowl is "Butterfly Hands of Danger"---it's alot better than other commercials.
Ez a zene, a keverés, és a master egyszerűen tökéletes. (Még youtube os verzióból is hallani.) Amúgy a kevés reklám közül ami tetszik ez az egyik legjobb.
my bro works in computer animation, and it must have taken the better part of a year to get the detail in this ad done. maybe not my single favorite from this year's super bowl- but certainly the technically excellent.
The music is from the children's piece Peter and the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev. Each character has its own music and this particular one belongs to Peter, if I'm not mistaken.
Prokofiev's Peter and the Wolf Score Rocks!! If anyone cares you are listening to a composer who perhaps had the greatest influence on film composers here in the US.
@luaraweasley It is one of the greatest pieces of music ever written. You probably heard this piece when you were kid as most kids know the story of Peter and the Wolf. It is consistently ranked as one of the most listened to pieces of music of all time.
I love this commercial. The only time I saw it aired on TV was during the Superbowl 3 years ago, I think. It is still saved on my HD DVR. It's very creative and beautifully done. I'm not even a fan of coke (I don't drink any soda pop regularly).
