Let me explain the milk with ice, for those who think it's dumb. Obviously, even if the milk's cold, the ice makes it colder. It's makes it so cold that it dulls the taste of the milk - and, of course as the ice melts, that dulls the taste even more. So usually people who put ice in their milk, don't particularly care for the taste of milk. At least, that's how it is with me. They're are quite a few cereals that I like, but I'm not too keen on milk. The ice makes it bearable though. And, I bet his sister put ice in that vanilla milk because it's really sweet - so, she probably wanted to dull the sweetness just a little bit. There you go...Milk With Ice 101.
