Hi, we are Glenn 🇧🇪 & Cecilie 🇩🇰. A couple going from a 3-year long distance relationship to fulltime travel. I'm 50 in June and haven't been back to Cochabamba since i was 12 years old. I love these videos because my heart is still there. It's changed so much, but I remember climbing the hill where the statue is now! Before the cable car or any of that, there was only a small stone with a chiseled marking at the time. You could walk right by and never see it. It was my backyard for two years by the basketball court. I had so many friends from school who were amazing, and i miss them so much. Just below Jesus's right hand was where I lived! There was a botanical garden. I believe it's still there. We would hang out there as kids all the time. My mother is from there although i was born in America. Thank you so much for sharing. ❤❤❤

Great video, you captured the key points of this great city of Bolivia, I believe is the third one (not fourth) in terms of population and relevance to the economy. Cochabamba's great asset if its weather, is known as the perennial spring. On your next video , you could focus on their many parks full of flowers and greenery....enjoy your time there. I was born there and some day is my hope to return there for good (living overseas for many years now)

my assumptions about Bolivia prior to revelations today i remember the Bolivia coffee bean commercials as a kid I remember the Bolivia-Colombia yayo connection in movies the Andes are a damn good hiding spot & the less people the better

There's a slight difference between your "underestimated" and our "underrated" that I have to point out. We never meant that it seems to be less an important city than it really is. It is an important city but it's not valued high enough in comparison with other things to do in Bolivia. Like say; everyone knows Brussel is the capital of Europe, hence it's an important city and has a lot of tourism but most tourist never get to see the city of Gent, which you've heard about but you don't really know what it's famous for or what to do there. 8:15 thing that saddens me tho'..the Latins dont even know who they are..they just follow the Spanish came to their land..got rid of all their Aztec Mayan Incas etc culture & history granted the Aztec went way too far w/ their savage sacrifice rituals so Spain stopped that but Latins today speak Spanish or Portuguese..& they worship Catholicism..enforced by Spain then some migrate to North America..denounce all of that..& choose to either act black or white I live in the Mexico part of town now..& I adore the ones that work hard play hard fvck hard repeat but some of 'em are lost & they know it..& theyre uptight about it..& I totally get it now..know thyself
