I'm so happy to find one of these videos about Cocker Spaniels that's actually accurate and honest so major props to the channel for the good work. There's so much misinformation about them on RU-vid that I've taken to clicking on any video I run across and setting the record straight in the comments so we don't end up with another beautiful cocker abandoned or neglected because their owner didn't understand their needs. One piece of advice I always give is that if you don't have time, money, and affection for a kid then a cocker is not for you. They NEED companionship like we need water so being alone too often is traumatizing for the pups and since they're purebreds they often come with some health risks (This video listed the most common ones, thankfully. Please get your dog from a reputable breeder!). But they are the most loving, intelligent, playful, and loyal dog breed there is.
