during the war , while crashing pilots preferred the "pillow" protection instead head first on the metal of the machine gun......

@@thierryroussel1 yes but you aren't flying in the autumn of 1916, you are using a tomtom so i don't think it matters as far as authenticity goes.

If there hadn’t been an urgent need for a high performance weapon, in about 1915 Britain, the Sopwith Pup would have never existed.
