A wee flight over Cocksburn during a lull on a very windy day, while the reservoir has had around 12feet of water drawn off, giving a good idea of the normally subsurface topography. Key points, how gently shelving the North bank is, the significant rock structure on the south side and how deep it is just off the South bank. Note also the direct overhead view where you can see subsurface structure from the east end reaching across into the main basin behind the dam wall.
